As you all know I attended Fashion Week Live last night. It was a blast! While the runway show was the main thrill, the pre-party and goodie bag were added bonuses. I am waiting for more pictures from the event but wanted to share some highlights with you. Also, a big thank you to Sephora for my golden ticket!

Some highlights were:

• Two of the gorgeous peeps in this picture! Naomi was graceful, yet powerful, on the catwalk and Tyson, well, just look at him. These two were the crowd favorites too, with welcoming claps from the audience.
• The show lasted about an hour, and was divided by themes. My favorite theme was evening! The most stunning gowns were by Zac Posen and Donna Karan.
• My favorite daytime looks were by local designer Peter Som; my lip reading skills picked up Vanessa Getty whispering "I like that" to a friend about a gray ruffle asymmetrical dress by him. Also, notable, were the Marc Jacobs pieces that were surprisingly more sultry in the flesh!

Escape to Cape Cod is the newest limited edition summer fragrance from Tommy Hilfiger. The scents were inspired by the charming homes, laid back atmosphere, sand dunes, evening picnics and the rolling blue Atlantic Ocean of Cape Cod Massachusetts. There are two fragrances in this collection; one for men and one for women, which are expected to hit stores in April.

Escape to Cape Cod For Him is made from sea air accord, wild bergamot, juicy mandarin, spearmint leaves, seaweed, lavender and salty sea driftwood.

Escape to Cape Cod For Her is made from Nantucket cranberry, strawberry rhubarb, lemon-lime spritzer, beach roses, magnolia, indigenous Cape Cod wildflowers and cedar. Imagine wearing this fresh scent on sun soaked, sandy and salty sea skin! Mmmm.

The fragrances will only be sold in sets. The Anchors Away Summer Set for Men includes a 3.4 oz Cologne and a 3.4 oz Body Wash and comes in a cute nautical-inspired navy blue drawstring tote and retails for $45. The Seaside Breeze Set for Women, includes a 3.4 oz bottle of the Perfume and a 3.4 oz Body Lotion which comes in a red nautical-inspired drawstring tote and sells for $48. Enjoy!

As of late, black and white has been representing an 80s look. I am glad it resurfaced as ladylike black & white. This is a more classic look that has broader appeal. In case you haven't heard: ankle boots are here to stay. A favorite shoe from this past Fall, they are a key accessory for this coming Fall so store them away properly during the warm summer months, i.e. in a shoe box or shoe bag.

These are tricky to wear, so I suggest you show some skin, so the boot doesn't crop your leg, and keep the silhouette streamlined. Another option is to wear them with slim pants that hit just at the top of the foot, so you can show off the boots. Have fun with it, but one thing is for certain: WhiplashGirlchild and I love our ankle boots! and you should give them a whirl too.

This week I took a look at my current makeup bag I have on display in my bathroom, that holds my favorite beauty items to grab for on-the-go, and realized I'm over it. All my guests see this bag in my bathroom so I thought I should have something more high fashion looking to hold my beauty faves. I found this Kate Spade patchin place small manuela in green, $85, but I'm not sure about it. I love the polka dots but the green color doesn't say pretty bathroom to me.
