A long time web shopper, I have always been frustrated with Bloomingdales online. I never thought their site emulated the upscale look and selection Bloomies carries. To my surprise, the retailer has made an effort to refresh their face on the web. The new Bloomies has a black background, appears better organized than before, and has a more upscale allure. Check out the homepage:

They have joined other savvy retailers like Fab favorites Neiman Marcus and Net-a-Porter by drawing you in with a beautiful home page. New features include a Designer Spotlight (currently Tory Burch), The Trend Shop, and Spotlight On: Prom (where there are some great frocks!). You can then shop by Designers, Women, Shoes & Handbags, Beauty, Men, Home, Jewelry & Accessories, Kids, Sales & Values, Shop Catalogs, Bridal Registry and Gifts. The photography has improved too; it's not as catalogy and more high fashion.

Indulgences usually come with a price. Envision your body getting toasty warm and turning a gorgeous golden color. While that used to be fun as a child, if you haven't already learned by now - exposure to the sun without sunscreen can result in premature aging as well as skin damage and skin cancer.

The summer months are soon approaching and now is the time to respect and protect yourself. As I am sure you already know (but reminders never hurt), sunscreen should be applied evenly to your skin 30 minutes before exposure. Re-apply throughout the day and especially after swimming. Here are three of my favorite sensitive sunscreens for your face:

The one accessory a woman can't have too many of: shoes, shoes, glorious shoes! Whether you're a live-in-heels-die-in-heels woman, shoe chameleon, or laid back flat gal, there is something for everyone this Spring. Seeing as how it's Monday, and we should all be rested and refreshed (right?), I'm going to start off with cork heels. These may have a tainted Candie's past, but the casual cork is downright sexy and flirty. I would stick to natural accent colors as not to revert to the corks' old cheesy Candie's ways.

We told you we had the inside scoop on Madonna's new collection for H&M that will be in stores this Thursday, March 22! We have a three part series and we've already shared the accessories and now we are moving on to the "lights."

If you trace Madonna's style, when she makes red carpet appearances and press tours, she has a rather classic look these days. I think with this collection she wanted to share her more sophisticated approach to clothes via beautifully draped dresses and classic pieces like trenches and feminine separates. Madonna's pizazz is delivered through sporty styling and metallic touches. Here are a couple of my favorites, including a sassy short sequin dress!

Braided handle handbags have a special place in my heart. If I had to pick another decade to have been a teenager, it would be the 70s. Anything braided has a 70s feel to it; it's that boho cool that celebs like Kate Hudson totally pull off. This is why Dazed & Confused is one of my favorite wardrobe movies! So dig out those wide legged jeans, pair them with one of these bags and go for a slow ride.

As you all know by now one of Spring's biggest trends is Get Sporty. I was flipping through a magazine over the weekend and was inspired by one of Mischa's ads for Keds. I've been thinking of taking up tennis lately - there are some free courts right by my apartment - and it's time to start getting back into shape for the summer. Though bowling doesn't give you as much of a workout as tennis, check out geeksugar's Wii sports bowling outfit for more inspiration.

It has been reported that Calvin Klein muse Natalia Vodianova, is going to join the ranks as a David Yurman model in the Fall ad campaign alongside Kate Moss. The ads are scheduled to be shot later this month in St. Bart’s.
