Beauty Marked! A New Silky Soft Shaving Cream

Last week I asked you all to come Beauty Marking with me to help find a new silky soft shaving cream or gel that I didn't have to share with my hubby.

Last week I asked you all to come Beauty Marking with me to help find a new silky soft shaving cream or gel that I didn't have to share with my hubby. He really loves his Kiehl's Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream, $15.50, and I do too, however it's not very feminine smelling! Your mission was to help find me something that will make my legs and underarms feel silky without irritating my sensitive skin. Also, if it smelled great, that would be fab! To see all of the beauty marks for a shaving cream click here. Thank you so much for all of your ideas!

Beauty Mark #1 found my sigmaration, is called Nature's Gate Organics Lemongrass and Clary Sage Creamy Shave Gel, $6.99. This shaving cream is made with Vitamins A and E to nourish, calm and protect skin. It also has creamy shea butter in it so that your skin is left feeling moisturized and silky.

Fashion Flash

Fab Flash: Naomi + Christopher = Lingerie Line?

Could it be that supermodel Naomi Campbell will soon go back to being remembered for what she should be known for: fashion?

Could it be that supermodel Naomi Campbell will soon go back to being remembered for what she should be known for: fashion? According to reports, the phone-throwing beauty has teamed up with Brit designer Christopher Kane to design a lingerie line, which currently has no name and no launch date. Despite the hush hushness of the collaboration, it has been reported that Naomi has visited Christopher's studio to discuss the pretty details. I am dying to know what the line will be dubbed. Perhaps "Ring Ring Lingerie"? or "Sexy Caller"? Okay, all jokes aside, what do you think it should be called?

Handbags

Designer Spotlight: jack&marjorie

There are tons of handbag lines in the world right now, but what makes jack&marjorie a standout is their use of military surplus materials like wool blankets, ground sheets, parachutes and webbing.

There are tons of handbag lines in the world right now, but what makes jack&marjorie a standout is their use of military surplus materials like wool blankets, ground sheets, parachutes and webbing. If all this military talk is conjuring up masculine images, fret not because designers Meghan Parsons and Manuel Opp also mix in feminine elements such as vintage lace, silk, brocade and buttons to create their unique handbags. Prices range from $100-$200, to order click here.

Trend Alert: Statement Cuffs

The bracelet of the moment is the cuff - no doubt about that.

The bracelet of the moment is the cuff - no doubt about that. But when the options are a plenty things start to get saturated and therefore unappealing; or maybe that's just me. Just the same as the effect of any statement jewelry, statement cuffs are a modern way to stand out via jewelry. The best part? Less is more - you can tone down your outfit and let your wrist shine on.

Chanel

Chanel's New 2007 Summer Collection!

Yay, it's here it's here!

Yay, it's here it's here! Chanel's new 2007 Summer Collection is amazing. I've had the privilege of viewing the products and they are all really clean, fresh and wearable. You know how some summer looks are too bright and just don't work? This is the exact opposite. I think that most of this collection is going to evolve into some of their bestsellers.

Pictured above are just a few highlights, but the collection covers the full range for the face. Lips and eyes consist of: Contraste Lumiere which is a six color lip palette, two satin lipsticks in Flirt and Darling, two sheer lipsticks in Montego and Jamaica, five glossimers in Sundress, Sarong, Coral Reef, Summer Plum and Seashell, two fluorescent lip sheers in Mango Fluorescent and Pink Fluorescent, a Shimmering Dunes eye shadow quad, two new powder shadows in Island and Sand and two liquid iridescent shadows in Coast and Source.

Cheeks, nails and face are comprised of: two nail lacquers in Heatwave and Orange Blossom, two Joues Contraste powder blushes in Nude and Horizon and Soleil Lame tinted bronzing gel. All products are now available at Chanel Boutiques and counters. Get 'em while they're hot!

Celebrity Style

Celebrity Style: Angelina Jolie

St. John is in the fashion air...yesterday we learned the original St. John model is now a rocker chick and today we see the current St. John model on the set of the upcoming campaign.

St. John is in the fashion air...yesterday we learned the original St. John model is now a rocker chick and today we see the current St. John model on the set of the upcoming campaign. While we speculate her sweater and jeans are none other than the designer being endorsed here; a boxy heather grey sweater paired with tan shoes is an undeniable lesson in American sportswear. Looks like Angie is learning a thing or two about fashion being the (beautiful) face of St. John.

Look of the Day

Look of the Day: Lady in Red (Purse)

Let's give it up to Zeldaf for being such an adorable and unfussy Lady in Red (Purse)!

Let's give it up to Zeldaf for being such an adorable and unfussy Lady in Red (Purse)! Even though Zeldaf expressed that she's iffy on the white color-blocking, I think it works quite well, especially since the eye catching Marc Jacobs handbag directs most of the attention away from the white and on to the red. I also adore the the ruffles and pintuck detail on the blouse; such a good mix of feminine and masculine!

Here's the outfit breakdown:

  • White short-sleeve blouse: American Eagle
  • Cami Tank: J Crew
  • Skinny Jeans: Seven for all Mankind Roxanne
  • White Peep-toe Flats: Franco Sarto
  • Handbag: Marc Jacobs

Congrats to Zeldaf!
