Celebrity Style: Milla Jovovich

It's a known fact that many models have style.

It's a known fact that many models have style. These are, after all, the gals who get to wear the collections first, have the bodies to wear even the slimmest cut, travel the world for inspiration and make very good money for smiling and walking - why do we not hate these girls again? Milla Jovovich has been on the scene a while now and has proven she can do more than just walk and smile; she can sing, act and design, and yet, I can't hate her. Here she is at the Mango event we wrote about earlier. Though she is wearing a frock from the Mango collection, found by Mysterious ways, I thought this look was easy Mod and breezy chic. You don't need much else but a lovely smile when you have ladylike black and white going on.

Fab Finding Follow Up: A "Bottom Heavy" Figure

Earlier this week I announced that we decided to make it a priority to address a very important fashion category: dressing for your body type.

Earlier this week I announced that we decided to make it a priority to address a very important fashion category: dressing for your body type. It would be silly for a fashion magazine, or blog, to think that all women were created equal, body-wise, so we're here to help and answer your questions.

DearSugar recently gave some sound advice to a reader who was a self-proclaimed "bottom heavy" woman. As well, the comments on her post offered even more advice - brava ladies! I started you off with this
Lane Bryant Flouncy gored skirt, $40. We all know black is the first color that comes to mind when seeking slimming and this skirt has a slight A line & feminine ruffle.

I asked you all to go Fab Finding for a great outfit that disguises a "bottom heavy figure." To see all the bottom heavy Fab Finds click here. Let's take a look!

Look #1, found by RCLdesigngirl flatters the legs with these kitten heel Enzo Angiolini 'Sun' Pumps and draws attention to this Dooney & Bourke 'Zebra Large' Sac.

Glitterati: *Fat Free

While most gals accessorize after selecting an outfit, *Fat Free jewelry designer Aylin Gould does the polar opposite: she bases her clothing around her accessories.

While most gals accessorize after selecting an outfit, *Fat Free jewelry designer Aylin Gould does the polar opposite: she bases her clothing around her accessories.

The San Diego-based jewelry designer believes that accessories are the main ingredient for a perfect look, and luckily, *Fat Free earrings are soft and light so they don't overwhelm any outfit. Although Aylin loves her accessories, it was only by accident that she came to design jewels. While she was preparing for her handbag line, she decided to make accessories with the leftover materials to make some extra cash and voila!

Each of her earrings, ranging from $59 to $79, feature Italian lambskin, Swarovski crystals, 14K gold and sterling silver. To get yours, shop here.

DKNY Shelly Rivet Mary Jane: Love It or Hate It?

Mary Janes are one of my all time favorite shoe styles...although this vintage style is often abused.

Mary Janes are one of my all time favorite shoe styles...although this vintage style is often abused. Shame! Take these DKNY Shelly Rivet Mary Janes, $100, for example. They attempted to toughen up the MJ with black leather and studs but these are just not right. I think they would have been perf if they just had the row of gold studs along the bottom, and not on the toe. The shape of the shoe is very feminine, so they got that right. What do you all think?

Fab Flash: Jovovich-Hawk for MNG

Not only is triple-threat actress/model/designer Milla Jovovich one of the faces featured in Spain retailer Mango's ads, it has been reported that her label, Jovovich-Hawk is now also designing for the company.

Not only is triple-threat actress/model/designer Milla Jovovich one of the faces featured in Spain retailer Mango's ads, it has been reported that her label, Jovovich-Hawk is now also designing for the company. The limited edition partnership features ten quirky dresses - one kimono style, one boho chic, one with amazing ruched detailing below the waist - which have hit 400 of the label's stores. Who do you think has bigger design guns for Mango? Jovovich-Hawk or the Cruz sisters? My vote is with the already fashion designer duo - these gals pictured here!

Trend Alert: Cropped Trenches

A little while ago we showed some super fresh Spring trenches.

A little while ago we showed some super fresh Spring trenches. Seeing as how the trench is both a classic and one of the most popular choices for outerwear this season, we are going to be seeing some modernized versions of it. So if you haven't already found that perfect trench maybe go a little avant garde with a cropped trench. Best worn with a long tunic or tee, to offset the crop, these little dudes are funky and youthful. They may not protect you as much from thunderstorms but you'll sure look in the now while running for cover.

R.E.D. Valentino Leather Cropped Trench Cape, $595.

Come Fab Finding With Me: A Spring Outfit for Fab!

It's about that time: Fab needs a new Spring outfit - yay!

It's about that time: Fab needs a new Spring outfit - yay! While I love her little artsy teal dress, cream coat and beanie you all found last Winter it's time to lift Fab's hemline and paint her toes. Let's all go Fab Finding for a new Spring look for Fab! This is the time to pull out all the stops because we will be redrawing Fab based on the winning look and she'll be sporting it all Summer long!

I have chosen the shoes for her to wear, these Christian Louboutin Maezep cork wedges, $680, because I love these metallic wedges and can't afford a pair of Louboutin's myself so I'm living vicariously through my alter ego. They are a neutral color so let's all go Fab Finding for a saucy new Spring outfit. Here are my requirements: a colorful mini dress, to show off Fab's thin long legs, and an oversized buttery handbag - the rest is up to you! Be sure to put your Fab Finds in the Fab Finding for Sugar Girls Group, if you're not a member click here to join and tag your Fab Finds with Fab Spring outfit.

Entourage's Emmanuelle Chriqui Dishes About Her Favorite Designers

PopSugar was lucky enough to score an exclusive interview with Emmanuelle Chriqui who plays E's girlfriend Sloan on the HBO hit series, Entourage.

PopSugar was lucky enough to score an exclusive interview with Emmanuelle Chriqui who plays E's girlfriend Sloan on the HBO hit series, Entourage. Pop was nice enough to share some of the juicy parts about Emmanuelle's favorite designers with me as well as her Red Carpet secrets. Here are the highlights:

  • On Her Favorite Designers: I’m a huge fan of Lotta Stensson. She’s here in LA. And in New York there’s Ingwa Melero, I’ve worn her dresses a couple times. She’s unbelievable. Most often when you see me in long dresses it’s Ingwa or Lotta.

Then of course I’m a huge fan of Yigal Azrouel. He’s an amazing designer as well. He’s really just edgy cool. I wore his green dress at the Golden Globes. I’ve been turned on to YSL. I mean hey, who’s not going to love YSL (laughs). I really like Dolce & Gabbana. I think their dresses fit like a glove.

  • On Getting Ready for The Red Carpet: It’s a little nerve wracking because you just want it all to come together. You have a vision of how you want it all to be. You’ve got someone doing your hair and doing your make up and depending on the day – some are just so on and some are so off.

She sounds really sweet, I too am a fan of some of those designers! Read Pop's take and the interview transcript here.
