For the longest time I didn't use fabric softener because my dermatologist told me the chemicals can cause breakouts on your skin. Seeing as how I'm a side sleeper (anyone else raise your hand?!), and I end up burrowing my face in my pillow by dawn, I avoided fabric softener for years.

The pioneer when it comes to good-for-the-planet cleaning products has enlightened me to these method Softener Infused Dryer Cloths, $5. I am already a devoted method fan so if I was to attempt fabric softener it would be via them. Most dryer sheets contain animal tallow (ew) that leaves a gummy residue. These wet cloths infuse plant-based softeners right into the fabric as it dries. I have been using them for about a month now and I am happy to say I am break out free, well, mostly. They come in four flavors: water lily + aloe, lavender + juniper, sweet water, and nectarine blossom (the Fab fave).

I am a huge fan of Kiehl's and their new Yerba Maté products are really getting me psyched. So far, I've tried the toner, and it's great. My skin is calm and it smells delish. I decided to get the back-story on the South American Yerba Maté tree and no wonder this stuff is flying off the shelves, the benefits are really impressive!

Supposedly, the leaves boost your immune defenses, enhance your health, vitality and longevity. It is jam packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and loads of amino acids that help keep you looking young.

Although I have zero room in my bathroom for another skin care regimen, there's no way I am passing this one up. The line includes a foaming Cleanser, $21, a soothing Toner, $25, and a lightweight Lotion, $35. Kiehl's is famous for their samples, so try some and let me know what you think.

We are in the midst of a green fashion revolution. Stay tuned for more green fashion on Fab, but in the meantime, the newest trend in fashion is no doubt going green. What a pleasant surprise! I yearn for SJP Celebrity Styles! Here is the cool New Yorker in front of her brownstone carrying home design mags. Hmmm, maybe she and hubby Matthew are redecorating? Perhaps. While her whole neutral hued ensemble is fab, there are two things I am seriously coveting here: that supremely chic handbag and her heather grey fisherman sweater. Well, I'm off to buy that sweater! I'll have to let SJP keep that bag, check out the price tag below.
