Simply Fab: West Elm Faux Bois Mirror

As you've already learned, woodsy accessories and nature-inspired pieces are very much in style.

As you've already learned, woodsy accessories and nature-inspired pieces are very much in style. Luckily, this nature trend isn't restricted to clothing. I am admiring this West Elm Faux Bois Mirror, $250, because it's the perfect way to add an outdoorsy feel to your home. The crisp white color of the faux twigs would look so fresh against a dark cherry-colored wall in your dining room. Or, you can hang it in your foyer for your guests to marvel at and for you to do a last minute glimpse in the mirror on your way out the door!

Love It or Hate It

Betsey Johnson Brown Halter Bikini: Love It or Hate It?

We've been talking a lot about fabulous swimwear.

We've been talking a lot about fabulous swimwear. This Betsey Johnson 'Chocolate Kiss' Halter Bikini, $160, however, is not so much. The hot pink sculpted roses make the otherwise-pretty chocolate brown bikini hideous. The roses, along with the gold beads and embossed hearts, are just too much. Plus, I feel like they would dig into your skin if you were laying on your tummy sunbathing. Do you agree?

The OC

I Want This Wardrobe: The O.C., Season 3

Season Three of The O.C.

Season Three of The O.C. was the pinnacle for the show. Marissa gets kicked out of school for her shooting incident from Season Two, she then eventually goes off the deep end and turns to drugs & alcohol and relations with bad boy, Volchok. Kristin is recovering from her bouts with the bottle while Julie falls in love with Summer's dad - go figure. Adorable little blondie Anna & slightly annoying, but somewhat endearing, Taylor add comic relief. We re-meet Marissa's quickly grown up sassy little sis, Kaitlin. Also, Summer's style really evolves and she shows us her full beauty potential. All of this leading up to the foursome graduating, all from Harbor (yay!). Then, just when we thought they were home free and off to college, Marissa meets the ultimate doom and dies in a car accident. I for one, was totally crushed. On to the clothes, for which there were many cute ones this season!

Season Three

On Summer:
Rebecca Beeson Black Puff Short Sleeve Pleated T-Shirt, $35.
Arden B. Floral Belted Pleated Skirt, $25.
Mike & Chris Barrington Leather Bag, $750.

Trend Alert

Trend Alert: The LWD

White is in the air, and beyond.

White is in the air, and beyond. It all started when we were struck by white lightening, and then there were the white accessories, white shades, and just an overall influx of white. So it's no surprise that as the weather heats up, the celebs are looking heavenly in dresses of this hue. The versatility of a LWD is profound: one can either look inappropriately like a 6-year-old or one can look like a sophisticated woman. I would recommend the latter, and stick to styles that are either minimal or retro - to avoid looking like Alice in Wonderland.

Poll

2007 Cannes Film Festival: Diane Kruger

Here is the first of hopefully many fabulous Love It or Hate It?

Here is the first of hopefully many fabulous Love It or Hate It? fashion polls from the Cannes Film Festival taking place in France right now. To kick things off, one of my new favorites: Diane Kruger. A definitive exotic blond, she looks perfectly poised in her white Chanel dress. I think this little LWD is an ideal choice for Cannes; it is feminine, chic and simply adorable. I also love her smoldering eye makeup and unique little braid with black string.
