A Couple Super Sweet Wedding Blogs

While the Sugar network has been bringing you fleeting but thorough wedding coverage over the past couple of months, let's not forget there are some blogs out there completely devoted to the world of white weddings.

While the Sugar network has been bringing you fleeting but thorough wedding coverage over the past couple of months, let's not forget there are some blogs out there completely devoted to the world of white weddings. Here are a couple of my faves:

From-I-will-to-I-do is filled with wedding planning tips, vendor recommendations and bridal related products, helping brides and grooms plan their dream weddings. It is lighthearted and crafty and very easy on the eyes. Her short and sweet posts are made three days a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so it's a fun stop that isn't overwhelming. The creator, Anne Chertoff, is a wedding expert who worked at Martha Stewart Weddings and Brides magazine in New York City. She knows who some of the best vendors are nationwide and you can find cities listed along the right-hand side.

Target

On Our Radar: Temperley for Target

Gosh - what would we do without Target?

Gosh - what would we do without Target? Has anyone bought any pieces from the newest GO. International collection by Patrick Robinson? After those pieces go on sale, the next up with be a colorful collection by British duo Libertine.

Then, we are getting into a moody Fall with a somber but Frenchie chic collection by another British design house: Alice Temperley. These certainly get me in the mood for foggy days with some menswear inspired pieces and darling dresses in hues of black, white, grey and a dash of cobalt. And those berets: c'est magnifique!

Romaniagirl looks fab in her newly purchased items in her lady in red ensemble. The red cropped cardigan works so well with the black voluminous skirt and white tank. And the braided gold belt, leaf necklace and white flats round out the outfit perfectly!

Here's what she has on:

  • Tank: Urban Behavior
  • Cardigan: Urban Behavior
  • Skirt: Express
  • Shoes: Payless
  • Necklace: Urban Behavior
  • Belt: Target

Congrats to Romaniagirl!

Which Eva Mommy-to-Be Cannes Look Is Most Fab?

When I saw Czech model Eva Herzigova at the Cannes Film Festival I thought WOW: she really has that pregnant woman glow.

When I saw Czech model Eva Herzigova at the Cannes Film Festival I thought WOW: she really has that pregnant woman glow. I don't think it is the French sun or the paparazzi bulb flashes, but I hope I look that good when I've got a bun in the oven. The pink empire waist gown is Valentino and was specially designed for Eva; it is just so sweet and beautiful. The gold one is a sophisticated warm weather option and she looks like she is handling the heat just fine. How does she do it? Here's a woman who proves that style doesn't have to suffer when a baby is on the way. Which Eva Cannes look do you like best?

Trend Alert: Slingback Espadrilles

What's functional, ideal for warm weather, and cute all over?

What's functional, ideal for warm weather, and cute all over? Why the slingback espadrille of course! I have a co-worker who is a shoe-a-holic if I ever met one, so consider yourself warned missy! For those who are into a more demure sexy sandal then, for example, cork heels these are ideal. They really go with everything flowy and feminine if you ask me - what's not to love?

Prada Logo Jacquard & Patent Slingback, $490.

If I were you, I'd pick up these Havaianas Supergirl Flip Flops, $18 (originally $23), because they are the fashion maven's choice for flip flops. During Fashion Week in New York, they were custom making them, and I was lucky enough to snag a few pairs!

Come Fab Finding With Me: Sassy Sailor

This week I caught a rerun of the Friends episode where Rachel tries to teach Joey how to sail.

This week I caught a rerun of the Friends episode where Rachel tries to teach Joey how to sail. It was quite funny when Rachel channels her father's strict sailing teacher ways and Joey just can't handle it; he simply calls Rachel "mean." Mean she may have been but her little sailing outfit was all cute and Tommy Hilfigered out.

I thought it would be fun to put together a sassy and functional sailing look. I'll start you off with these classic, and necessary, sailing accessory: Marc by Marc Jacobs Metal Aviator Sunglasses, $90. Let's all go Fab Finding for an awesome little sailing outfit - don't forget the sunscreen! Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them with sassy sailor.
