Love It or Hate It

2007 Cannes Film Festival: Ellen Barkin

As Borat would say: wowowee wa.

As Borat would say: wowowee wa. Ellen Barkin looks smashing in her plum sweetheart gown at the Ocean's Thirteen premiere. I love that her decolletage is bare because your eye would normally expect to see a necklace there; though some drop earrings would have been nice. And her blonde bob is so modern and cutting edge. I'm not so hot on the shoes, as I would have preferred to see her in some classy gold open-toe sandals. What do you all think?

Love It or Hate It

2007 Cannes Film Festival: Angelina Jolie

I love being surprised.

I love being surprised. And honestly, Angelina isn't as red carpet shocking as she used to be. I think she just struck a balance in this lovely Ungaro yellow draped gown. It has the elegance that she now embodies but with a punchy color. Honestly, I never thought I would see Angelina in this daring youthful color; it's such a departure from her steely St. John Oscar gown. Do you love or hate?!

Fab Finding Follow Up: Lunch with the Boss

So OMG! Your mysterious lunch with your boss is tomorrow.

So OMG! Your mysterious lunch with your boss is tomorrow. I know, a Friday before a holiday weekend. Oh well, now you'll just need happy hour even more! You work in an "office casual" setting but you don't want to dress shabby for lunch with the boss. To me, nothing says "I mean business" like a chic pair of Manolo Blahnik Patent Leather d'Orsays, $595.

I asked you all to go Fab Finding for an outfit suitable for a mysterious lunch with the boss. To see all the lunch with boss finds click here.

Oh! And we have a really cool new feature over at Team! Now, you can be your own stylist and build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with: a huge array of tops, bottoms, dresses, handbags, shoes, outerwear and accessories, and you can use your Fab Finding bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions - just tag each item with what I ask and arrange them into a list!

Look #1, found by daddio49 is both professional and fashionable. I adore the black blouse and yellow jacket. Thanks for creating a list girl!

The Bag To Have: Kooba Charlie Gold Linen Duffle

So you all know by now that I am getting ready for my big trip to Greece!

So you all know by now that I am getting ready for my big trip to Greece! Thanks so much for all your travel wishes and advice! Boy do I wish I were the ultimate jetsetter toting this Kooba Charlie Gold Linen Duffle, $575, that was Fab found by gorjusgirl.

I think this duffle is so luxurious and I especially like the shape and the toned-down metallic linen material. The gold buckles are smooth and the leather trim is sleek. Unfortunately I won't be able to get this for my adventure because I'm saving up to shop for when I'm there but if I'm not someone else should!

Who Wore It Better? Gold Sequin Mini Dress

The last time I checked on The Battle of the Golden Roses, Rose was slightly in the lead with her gold sequined mini dress.

The last time I checked on The Battle of the Golden Roses, Rose was slightly in the lead with her gold sequined mini dress. That actually surprised me; but maybe I'm still obsessed with yellow. And lookie what we have here: Carmen Electra in the same little sparkler. I think I'm going to stick with Rose in this face-off, she lends more of a pin-up girl look with her matching gold shoes and pale complexion. But, this dress has Carmen written all over it. What do you think?

Which Ocean's 13 Man is the Most Dashing?

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie Ocean's 11.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie Ocean's 11. One of the things I liked most about it was Brad & George's characters' sharp style. In Hollywood the women are no doubt the peacocks and get most of the fashion attention; I am guilty of this too. But Ocean's 11 brought crisp suiting and well-manicured men back to the big screen and boy was it fun man candy. Here is the cast of Ocean's 13 rearing to go at Cannes and what a lineup of dashing men, sans Ellen Barkin of course. If you look at the choices below I think you can see which fellow gets my vote (drool), who gets yours?!
