Fabworthy

Fabworthy: Bare Jewelry Stackable Twinkle Chain Rings

I was recently bedazzled by my friend's fingers sporting one of these dainty little Bare Jewelry Stackable Twinkle Chain Rings, $39.

I was recently bedazzled by my friend's fingers sporting one of these dainty little Bare Jewelry Stackable Twinkle Chain Rings, $39. I just had to have one - or five. She had been in LA and didn't have much luck shopping but was very happy with this simple jewelry purchase. Worn alone, this chain ring is simplicity at its best. Or you can buy three - or five - and stack them, which would be my choice. She's a more minimal type of gal, and I love the look of a good shiny stack of rings - so we both win!

Juicy Couture

The Look For Less: Juicy Couture Edith Navy Flats

I first saw these Juicy Couture Edith in Navy Nappa, $227, when I featured some Fab Found nautical flats a while back.

I first saw these Juicy Couture Edith in Navy Nappa, $227, when I featured some Fab Found nautical flats a while back. The preppy in me really digs them and those chunky gold buckles. And while navy flats would seem to be for the glam-ma, the scrunched back and oversized hardware make these more cheeky than cheesy. However, the nautical trend comes and goes so one may not want to splurge on such a trendy item.

Style Glossary

Definition: Silhouette

Silhouette n. In fashion, the overall outline, or shape of a garment.

Silhouette

n. In fashion, the overall outline, or shape of a garment. Three basic silhouettes form the basis for all clothing and are considered long-run fashions. These cycle over a period of years; the bell, with outer form rounded to waistline; the straight, hangs from the shoulders; and the bustle back silhouette. A-line and V-shape are modifications of the straight silhouette.

Fab Flash: Brands Choose YouTube to Spread the Word

Your favorite brands - Ralph Lauren, Gap (pictured), Victoria's Secret, Calvin Klein, Adidas and more - have all recently turned to YouTube to let young consumers know about their products via videos, commercials, behind-the-scenes, footage and fashion shows.

Your favorite brands - Ralph Lauren, Gap (pictured), Victoria's Secret, Calvin Klein, Adidas and more - have all recently turned to YouTube to let young consumers know about their products via videos, commercials, behind-the-scenes, footage and fashion shows.

Although traditional media like TV, radio and print still dominate the advertising world, there has been a growth in the online advertising market and it shows no sign of stopping. Case in point: online ads accounted for 5.8 percent of the $285.1 billion spent on advertising in the U.S. last year according to eMarketer. So why YouTube? Because it's on demand and it allows consumers to choose what they want to watch instead of being told what to see.

To catch some behind-the-scenes videos and catwalk shows, go to YouTube, type the name of the designer in the search box and voila! But don't forget there's always FABTV too!

Celebrity Style: Katherine Heigl

It's nice to see Katherine Heigl dressed so elegantly, especially after her hideous outfit at the airport.

It's nice to see Katherine Heigl dressed so elegantly, especially after her hideous outfit at the airport. She definitely got herself together for her appearances for Knocked Up because she's rockin' the black and blue trend with a ladylike striped skirt. Her ruffled cardigan, leather belt and small tote are simply lovely.

Jean Paul Gaultier Satin Dress: Love It or Hate It?

To me, this Jean Paul Gaultier Satin Embroidered Dress with Hood, $1,685, looks like it could be a part of Michael Knight of Project Runway's Spring 2007 collection.

To me, this Jean Paul Gaultier Satin Embroidered Dress with Hood, $1,685, looks like it could be a part of Michael Knight of Project Runway's Spring 2007 collection. I don't mind the silhouette so much but I definitely don't like the color, the fabric and the embroidered Tiger. Do you agree?

Fab Finding

Come Fab Finding With Me: Bowling Babe

When was the last time you went bowling?

When was the last time you went bowling? It's been years for me. And honestly, I'm not much of a bowler. I'm such a girlie girl when it comes to sports and the last time I bowled I hurt myself. How does one manage to hurt themselves while bowling? I snapped my wrist a bit too forcefully and I was done. Oh well!

But, I was thinking about the classic sport and how cute it is. And how cute you can be while playing it, aside from those required bowling shoes! I'll start you off with these CITIZENS OF HUMANITY Paley Ankle Jeans, $155. As for the bowling shoes, you can throw in a pair of flats or sneakers instead.

Let's all go Fab Finding for a bowling babe outfit. Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them with bowling babe.

Oh! Now, you can be your own stylist and build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.
