The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock looks lovely in this magenta architectural gown.

Sandra Bullock looks lovely in this magenta architectural gown. Kind of a safe choice compared to some of the other fashions out there tonight, but lovely nonetheless. I especially like the way her lipstick perfectly matches her dress. The rest of her makeup is beautiful as well. What do you think?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Renee Zellweger

Wow - call me crazy, but the red carpet fashions at The Met's Costume Institute Gala are turning out to be almost as fun as the Oscars.

Wow - call me crazy, but the red carpet fashions at The Met's Costume Institute Gala are turning out to be almost as fun as the Oscars. I love the color of Renee's dress here. It looks gorgeous with her pale skin and blue eyes and although I think she could have used some bling, I am pretty much loving this look. What do you think?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Lindsay Lohan

LL certainly knows how to clean herself up for the Red Carpet.

LL certainly knows how to clean herself up for the Red Carpet. In general I think she is looking good here, but I am not loving the bodice of her dress. It's a little too severe for a girl of the tender age of 20, but I do love the long train and how it graces the stairs. What do you think?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Jennifer Garner

It's so nice to see Jennifer Garner out of her casual mommy clothes and all glammed up in red on the Red Carpet.

It's so nice to see Jennifer Garner out of her casual mommy clothes and all glammed up in red on the Red Carpet. Although her hair is a bit messy and her clutch is a bit too matchy-matchy, I think she looks great overall and I appreciate the effort. What do you think?

Well I guess the Red Carpet Metallic Dress trend is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Well I guess the Red Carpet Metallic Dress trend is not going anywhere anytime soon. Here we have Jennifer Lopez on the Red Carpet in a metallic, Grecian themed dress. I think she looks gorgeous as always. What do you think?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Cameron Diaz

Some of you may disagree, but I think Cameron is totally rocking this look.

Some of you may disagree, but I think Cameron is totally rocking this look. I love the turquoise accessories against the Christian Dior fuchsia dress. Yes, it may be slightly promish, but I think she pulls it off with an air of sophistication. What do you think?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Jessica Simpson

OMG. Is this Jessica Simpson or Jessica Rabbit?

OMG. Is this Jessica Simpson or Jessica Rabbit? Don't get me wrong, I am a Jess fan, but this is a little too much. Those boobs, they are just, just...everywhere. And the Roberto Cavalli dress...a little too much metallic...or something. Actually, come to think of it, it reminds me a lot of Beyonce's Golden Globes Dress. What do you think?

Simply Fab: Coolio 3-D Chandelier

If you can't afford a real fancy crystal chandelier, this modern 3-D Chandelier, $36, is a fab alternative.

If you can't afford a real fancy crystal chandelier, this modern 3-D Chandelier, $36, is a fab alternative. It comes in ivory or black, but I prefer the former. There are two pieces, which you need to put together and fasten with the included ties. It also requires a cord kit, $10, which is sold separately. For a mere $50, it's much cooler than an old-school chandelier that costs thousands, if you ask moi!

Wet n' Wild: Metallic Bikinis

Think Rio or Miami - somewhere sizzling hot and oozing with sex appeal - when wearing one of these metallic bikinis.

Think Rio or Miami - somewhere sizzling hot and oozing with sex appeal - when wearing one of these metallic bikinis. They may be too risque for some, but these glistening suits are sure to grab serious attention when worn at the beach and beyond. It's no surprise metallics spilled into swim wear...so my question is: do you dare? And, there is still some time to get your bod in gear for bikini season, but you could always go to bikini boot camp!
