Quite fittingly, the idea of Flight001, pronounced Flight One, was conceived in the air - specifically on a flight between New York and Paris. Two business partners, John Sencion and Brad John had spent far too much time preparing for their trip and envisioned a store that made travel shopping as easy as 1-2-3.
Luckily, their brilliant idea followed them out of the airplane and made it into free-standing Flight 001 stores and onto the Web, where they now provide modern travelers with everything from luggage to carry-on totes, laptop cases to clothes bags, silicone travel bottles to blanket sets and so much more. See for yourself! Bon voyage...

Look of the Day: So Very Pretty in Pink
I have to give props to Lili_c: she is one of the only people I've seen who can pull off the high-waisted shorts look in real life. This just goes to show that it can be done, if it's done right! I love the so very pretty in pink blouse she chose and the straw bag makes everything look perfectly summery!
Here's what she's wearing:
- Top: Unknown
- Shorts: Vintage
- Shoes: Unknown
- Bag: Topshop
Congrats to Lili_c!

How Would YOU Wear It? Eve

Eve showed up to the MTV Studios for her appearance on TRL looking like this? The only way I can justify this mess of an outfit is by believing that her stylist was deathly ill that day. There is just too much going on here: hot pink and black leggings, way-too-strappy shoes and Mr. T-like chunky necklaces. I do adore her LBD because it's modern, classy and so feminine.
I would have first ditched the leggings and gone bare-legged. Then I would have swapped the chunky necklaces for something less gaudy. And those shoes? They would have been replaced with less-strappy and more-classy sky high Mary Janes.

The Look For Less: Anna Beck Armadillo Open Disk Earrings

On Monday we introduced you to jewelry designer Anna Beck. She makes gorgeous dimpled jewelry, like these Armadillo Open Disk Earrings, $165-$270. Her creations are delicate, simple and oh-so-wearable. Too bad they're a tad expensive.

On Our Radar: Urban Renewal by Urban Outfitters

I first caught sight of Urban Outfitter's Urban Renewal line a year or so ago here in San Francisco, and loved it right away!
The collection is made up of totally one-of-a-kind pieces - each are handcrafted in Philadelphia from vintage, deadstock, and surplus materials sourced from rag mills around the world. While each piece is unlike any other piece, it will be part of a limited edition - which means it has the same silhouette as a bunch of other pieces, but none are made out of the same material. Cool huh?
