What's more classic than a red Lolita-esque bikini? I think every gal - pale or tan - should have a stunning red bathing suit in her collection. This Melissa Obadash Red Elle bikini, $220, has a ruched bandeau top that is perfect for accentuating my B-cup. And that little tie in the front is the perfect sweet detail. The bottoms don't look too revealing and that red is spot-on cherry red.

I have a years old favorite red suit that is falling apart; seeing as how you can't go wrong with a solid red bikini I think this would be a sound investment I'm willing to dive into.

We all love getting a makeover, but in the case of the Chanel flagship store on Rodeo Drive, the makeover is decadent. The 14,700 square foot space, left, has a new front - a facade modeled on the Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle, thousands of double-C Chanel logo lights on a rooftop terrace, and a bronze stag sculpture based on a piece owned by Coco Chanel herself. Sounds beautiful, doesn't it? Sadly, the store won't be unveiled until August. I'll be waiting!

Yesterday I featured Sarah Michelle Gellar in an all-black look, so today I thought it would be nice to show the polar opposite, an almost-all-white ensemble. Hayden Panettiere looks very crisp and very L.A. in her white leggings, white v-neck top, gladiator sandals and red aviators! She sort of resembles Ashley Olsen here, except that Ash would New York the look up with some killer gladiator pumps and a Lanvin bag!

Sarah Jessica Parker was on the Today Show this morning dressed head to toe in her Bitten clothing line. Well, actually her shoes were not Bitten, as she shyly admitted. She said "um, don't ask about the shoes!" I would expect no less out of Miss Carrie Bradshaw herself. She was so cute, down to earth and so endearingly proud of her new line. As you all hopefully know (if not, this is a good reminder!), Father's Day is on Sunday, June 17. It's the perfect time to tell your dad how much you appreciate him, and take him out to a nice dinner. Or, you can always prepare him a nice dinner at home - whichever you prefer - he'll love either!

We girls need to be careful when it comes to wearing mini skirts. Actually, in general we need to be careful when wearing any item of clothing that reveals a large part of our body. I cringe when I see girls wearing mini skirts wrong; a mini can be classy when worn correctly. Here are some tips to look cool in a mini:

• Rule of thumb: keep it sleek by counteracting its inherent sexiness with some not quite as sexy items
• On top, choose something more tame than a skintight tank or revealing blouse - wear a frilly blouse or a loose cami with a cool blazer.
• Footwear should be minimal. I love minis with flats but if you need some height keep the heels chunky, as seen here at Derek Lam's Spring/Summer collection.
• As for Fall footwear, same rule applies, and whether you wear a mini with tights or not, a flat knee boot or wedge boots are the perfect accompaniment.
