Fab Photo Albums to Preserve Wedding Good Times!

And so, the wedding mist has cleared.

And so, the wedding mist has cleared. Months and months of planning and then the big day - how you wish it would never end - but then it does and you're off to a romantic rendezvous and then...back to reality. I hope you took some pictures along the way! Whether it's pics of the young lovers throughout their love affair, from the actual wedding day, or from the honeymoon, call me old fashioned, but I love a Fab photo album to preserve the good times. I know it takes a bit of money and effort but isn't your love worth it? If you're more techie than I, do check out some other photo preserving options.

Once all is said and done, you two can always pop a bottle of bubbly, fire up a few candles and take a trip down memory lane. Ahhhh.

Online Sale Alert! Savings on Fall Fashion at Nordies!

It's not very often that you get to raid a sale on stock that's just coming into a store... but that's the brilliant notion behind the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

It's not very often that you get to raid a sale on stock that's just coming into a store... but that's the brilliant notion behind the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Don't expect clearance-house prices or anything, but there are definitely still good deals to be had - especially considering that Fall isn't even close to being here yet.

I am in total lust with this French Connection 'Mystify Me' Satin Shift Mini Dress, $100 (originally $158). The plum satin, the soft pleats - this cocktail party perfect dress just beckons me: "Fab, Fab, you know you want me...".

Watch out, this sale will get you, too!

Toms Canvas Slip-On Shoes: Love It or Hate It?

These casual shoes have been lurking around for a while, unfortunately.

These casual shoes have been lurking around for a while, unfortunately. As exhibited by Scarlett Johansson, the Toms Canvas Slip-Ons, $42, aren't the most flattering shoe. They are dubbed the shoes for tomorrow, and for every pair purchased, Toms donates one to a child in need. I would buy it only for that reason, but would certainly not wear them outside the house. They may be ultra-comfy, but darling, pain is beauty! Do you agree?

Celebrity Style: Jennifer Garner

This is one of the first times in a long time that I've seen Jennifer Garner looking so sophisticated and put together.

This is one of the first times in a long time that I've seen Jennifer Garner looking so sophisticated and put together. I know she has a family to look after, but in my book, there's never an excuse for looking sloppy. An all-black look can sometimes look harsh, but here, on her way to a business meeting, the actress looks simple and sophisticated. And that Chloe bag is always a winner!

Trend Alert: The Shirtdress

May I present to you a classic: the shirtdress.

May I present to you a classic: the shirtdress. A timeless silhouette, these dresses can go from work to play with the swapping of accessories - and they are also date perfect (just unbutton a few on the top and the bottom). With the belted waist they complement womanly curves and you can even switch up the belt to create a fresh look. As well, the shirtdress is a great transition piece from Summer to Fall - just add some tights and a cardi and cozy up!
