Who Wore It Better? Fuchsia Hermes Birkin Bag
I believe a woman can twin a fuchsia Hermes Birkin bag with a perfect LBD and that's all she would ever need. Here we have two beautiful ladies, both carrying the coveted Birkin - in my new favorite color - both portraying a totally different look. Posh is on pink overload but still manages to look stunning in her Roland Mouret dress whereas Heidi tones things down in a dark hued rockin' look. One bag, two totally different looks...who wore it better?

Style for Style: The Wind Beneath My Minidress
Has anyone else been hiking up their hemline this Summer? With the plethora of dress options, I can't resist! It was time for me to show off my stems and I think every woman should chuck their jeans aside and give a dress a twirl. After all, Fall is right around the corner and fresh variations of hosiery are soon to be all the rage so let your legs BREATHE!
However, there is an enemy when you choose to don a loose trapeze dress or sassy mini dress: a mighty wind. While some people probably wouldn't mind a little sidewalk show, it's a major fashion fax paus to flash your under-business (as exhibited by too many starlets in recent years). I say: be prepared for the wind beneath your mini dress with some cute, flirty under options.

- My fail safe is to wear a pair of full-coverage bootie shorts, or cute girlie boxers, underneath my skirt and over my underwear; I never want to be that girl who trips and falls on my ass, baring my ass. Plus, you can play with patterns and show a little something unexpected - in a good way.
- If your skirt is light colored, wear a pair of nude boy shorts.
- If you don't mind a little peekaboo, a pair of ruffled panties are certainly more acceptable than commando!
- A super cute option: bloomers! They evoke a sweet sultry farmer girl vibe.
- For a more street or casual look, bust out a pair of denim cut offs.
I now send you off in your little skirts fashion-ready and wind-ready!
Celebrity Style: Minnie Driver
Actress Minnie Driver is two gals in one: part lady and part rocker-chick! Here, leaving Mercer Hotel in NYC, she looks stunning in a black halter dress, cool Ray Ban aviators and her guitar. Sans the musical instrument and sunnies, she could easily walk onto a red carpet! But we'll settle for the hot streets of NYC!

Fab Flash: Alexander Wang Accessories!

One of my favorite up-and-coming designers, Alexander Wang, is giving us the goods: handbags and shoes, that is! For his upcoming Spring collection, Alexander is introducing hobo and cargo-style bags, in worn lamb leather, with touches of lizard and suede. The bags, approximately $500 to $650, will be launched initially at high-end stores like Ikram and Linda Dresner.
If that doesn't sound fabulous enough for you, he's also collaborating with the esteemed Manolo Blahnik on two pairs of one-of-a-kind shoes. I am definitely looking forward to seeing his new goods!
How Would YOU Wear It? Keira Knightley

The fashion police in me was very excited when I saw Keira in this disastrous outfit. I know it's raining, but that doesn't make it okay to dress like a bum - quite the contrary. My main man, Marc Jacobs, advocates layering, but this type of layering - unflattering and sloppy - is out of the question.
I'd first switch up those cowboy boots for a more sleek brown vintage pair. I'd keep the navy tights and v-neck sweater but would have worn a fresh white tank underneath it to break up the all-blue look. Next, I would have worn a menswear-inspired pair of brown plaid shorts and ditched the fedora (yawn). I do like the Egyptian-inspired necklace and tote though!

Rachel May Wood Owl Necklace: Love It or Hate It?

Owls flew into our lives a while back and it seems they're still lurking. Some are small and simple, while others, like this Rachel May Wood Owl Necklace, $99, are big and bold. I myself have a small gold owl necklace, but this one is a tad gaudy in my opinion. Plus, I am not digging the beaded chain. What's your take?

Fab Redux: Black Velvet

I'm about to tell you something very important...so pay attention! Etsy.com is a vintage wonderland. Totally untapped, you can spend hours and hours getting lost in its depths. Trust - it's happened to me.
During my latest expedition into Etsy, I came across this beautiful floral tunic, $72, which is from the 80s and best fits a size medium. It's shown as a mini dress, but I think I would wear it as a loose top - or with some charcoal grey tights come Fall. The rich colors and the embossed velvet make it a perfect pre-Fall steal. Oh! And how cute would it look with a beret? Love.
Trend Alert: Zippy Handbags
Zippy handbags are a little polished, and a lot purposeful. Really: can a big have too many zippers? Ok, I guess one can but I find not enough bags have nice looking zippers, to trap all our girlie glosses and gadgets. These new bags manage to look both sporty and sophisticated. So zip it down, gloss it up and ring a ding ding.
