Congrats! You finally landed your dream internship at a major fashion house, but needed help tracking down the most fashionable first day ensemble ever. Clothes, bag, shoes, jewelry; nothing was overlooked. After all, first impressions are everything, especially in the fashion industry.

I started you off with this MAXX New York Bridle Chrome Large Bowler, $148, because it's affordable (remember, you're not getting paid) and edgy.

To see all the fashion internship finds, go here. Let's see what you all came up with!

Oh! Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

Look #1, created by syako is red hot. I love the contrast between the red jacket and the metallic bag.

New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Donna Karan

As New York Fashion Week drew to a close, Donna Karan positioned herself to end the schedule with a bang by presenting her collection yesterday, the last day!

As New York Fashion Week drew to a close, Donna Karan positioned herself to end the schedule with a bang by presenting her collection yesterday, the last day!

And what a bang it was: beautiful off-the-shoulder jersey column dresses, slim-fit suits with portrait collars, and full high-waisted a-line skirts all showed. The color palette was very safari-chic, with lots of caramels, beiges, creams, nudes, and dark browns punctuated with a few red and indigo pieces.

A very womanly aesthetic remained prominent, just like so many other New York shows this season; it was all about dresses and skirts - no pants and only a few shorts appeared. And say ta-ta to trapeze silhouettes - waists were cinched with wide sashes and buckle belts.

Found! Eva Longoria's Red Ruffle Dress

The petite Eva Longoria wore a darling red ruffle dress to the "Clothes Off Our Own Back" event that instantly caught my eye.

The petite Eva Longoria wore a darling red ruffle dress to the "Clothes Off Our Own Back" event that instantly caught my eye. I did some digging because I knew you Fab ladies would love it. Turns out, it's Plenty by Tracy Reese and it's a part of her Spring 2007 collection. What makes it different from all the other red dresses out there is the black straps and sophisticated volume. This lady in red is on fire!

Fab Flash: Louboutin Wants to Keep Red Soles to Himself

Christian Louboutin, whose super sexy pumps are known for their trademark red soles, has filed a trademark application in the US to ensure no other shoe manufacturer mimics his style.

Christian Louboutin, whose super sexy pumps are known for their trademark red soles, has filed a trademark application in the US to ensure no other shoe manufacturer mimics his style. This request will also be rolled out in the UK. This comes after Louboutin's legal battle with New York-based shoe company, OH...DEER!, who has already used the red sole detail on their footwear.

"The shiny red color of the soles has no function other than to identify to the public that the shoes are mine," Louboutin told the US Trademark Office, according to reports in the press this weekend. You tell them, Christian!

Celebrity Style: Claudia Schiffer

Longtime Model Claudia Schiffer looks classic and chic at the launch for Shortlist Magazine.

Longtime Model Claudia Schiffer looks classic and chic at the launch for Shortlist Magazine. I like that her shirt dress has lace detailing and a black bow ribbon. She's smart to have kept the accessories to a minimum, as gaudy jewels would have killed the sweet look. She barely has any makeup on, yet she still manages to look so pretty. The woes of being beautiful!

New York Fashion Week Trend Alert: Going Tribal

One of the the more print inducing trends on the Spring runways was Going Tribal.

One of the the more print inducing trends on the Spring runways was Going Tribal. An array of batik prints, nature-inspired, exotic and tropical prints will provide fabulous fashion fare. DKNY went tribal with a more subdued palette, youthful shapes, and obi belts; Oscar de la Renta knows how to deliver tribal to purveyors of luxury, and Diane von Furstenberg's "Under the Volcano" theme gave way to vivacious tribal delights. You can hear me talk about more about all the Spring trends here but this is one of my faves; there's just so many tribal trips you can take!

New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent

You may or may not know that many of the shows I saw at New York Fashion Week were not at the famed Bryant Park tents.

You may or may not know that many of the shows I saw at New York Fashion Week were not at the famed Bryant Park tents. A lot of designers showed off site, for a number of reasons; budget restrictions, an anti-sponsor preference or simply to present a no frills collection of clothes. We feature Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent often, so I was jazzed to see her Spring offerings...especially since the showroom setting was casual, filled with light and easy going.

With the feather weight clothes hanging on mannequins, Vincent also provided a viewing of her coveted shoes and accessories and an immense inspiration wall. The inspiration wall was really cool; images from Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides, a young Patrick Dempsey, youthful beachy photo shoots via NYLON, all made sense of the clothes. And the clothes were in punchy colors of 70s suburbia with feminine details like jeweled necklines, crochet and ruffles. Sporty aspects like racer backs, hoods and tanks toughened things up. All in super soft fabrics like chiffon, silk, voile and jersey, I bet if models were wearing these pieces they would seriously flow. I guess we'll just have to wait for some of these to appear in Celebrity Styles to really know!

As for the accessories, buttery leather clutches were adorned with fun star-shaped beads. Colorful leather was preferred as was patent leather, on shoes that were colorblocked, banded and woven. Looks like Cynthia had fun with this collection!
