Who Wore It Better? Juicy Couture Swiss Tunic Dress

Juicy Couture's dresses are all the craze these days.

Juicy Couture's dresses are all the craze these days. Rachel Bilson walked her puppy in the black Juicy Couture Swiss Tunic Dress, $188, yesterday. Eva Longoria double fisted green teas in the white version and a Gerard Darel fringe bag today. Rachel gives the dress a grungy vibe with her ankle boots and green bag, while Eva looks more sweet and sophisticated. Who do you think wore it better?

New York Fashion Week Key Color: White

We just had a whitewash of a Summer, and there is no end in sight for the starkest color of all.

We just had a whitewash of a Summer, and there is no end in sight for the starkest color of all. White was once again omnipresent amidst a varicolored New York Spring, so officially blast those white-is-reserved-for-weddings-only thoughts. Blanco beauty even appeared officially deeming white is here to stay.

This new edition of Vogue is expected to be more colorful and more vibrant than the western models, according to Alex Kuruvilla, managing director of Conde Nast India. He also expects it to draw attention to Indian designers, Indian photographers, and even Indian models. The Vogue India woman has the best of both the eastern and western worlds: she wears Jimmy Choo shoes along with her traditional Indian garb.

London Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Matthew Williamson

I always anticipate a Matthew Williamson collection, for they are usually alive with the sound of bold colors and frilly details, with an overall cool feel.

I always anticipate a Matthew Williamson collection, for they are usually alive with the sound of bold colors and frilly details, with an overall cool feel. Yesterday Williamson showed a collection of that and more, with an opening act by Prince - top that!

This collection is a pleaser with a bevy of electric brights, tie dye, condensed ruffles, black and white graphic prints and rainbow washed metallics. Williamson has too gone tribal and though he often does, he does it so well. With an overarching Native American theme, he balanced things out with tailored vests, oversized blazers, trousers and khaki. You will notice some very Williamson-esque bold shoes and bags, lucky for us, he is expanding his empire into accessories. As well, you have some really unique dresses that I wish to see at future events on some daring PYTs. Williamson rocked the runway indeed!

Celebrity Style: Tara Reid

No, you haven't come across a How Would You Wear It?

No, you haven't come across a How Would You Wear It? post. Since Tara Reid has been trying her best to look nice lately, I thought I'd commend her efforts by giving her a spot on Celebrity Style. You can never go wrong with Missoni, and her Louis Vuitton Damier adds a touch of class to her ensemble. This is one of the most flattering and sophisticated outfits we've seen her sport in a long time. Let's hope she keeps it up. For those times when you do want to debate whether you would or wouldn't wear an iffy piece a celeb is, check out this fun game!

The Bag To Have: Chanel Crocodile Quilted Chain Bags

Dear Chanel, I walk into your store every time I'm in the neighborhood and every time I leave empty handed.

Dear Chanel,

I walk into your store every time I'm in the neighborhood and every time I leave empty handed. Why, oh why, must you be so pricey? You know what? I don't blame you: you look gorgeous, you're classic and the epitome of sophistication and class.

Xo,

Fab

These Chanel Crocodile Quilted Chain Bags, $2,250-$3,850 (call (800) 550-0005 to order) are as yummy as candy and probably feel even yummier. I especially love the purple one because it's regal. Even though most of us can't afford even the chain handle of this bag, it's still eye candy. One day my friends, may we all walk out of a Chanel store with a bag in hand...

New York Fashion Week Trend Alert: Sheer Bliss

Some designers showed sheer bliss on the New York catwalks.

Some designers showed sheer bliss on the New York catwalks. The unveiling of sheer materials and details on dresses and skirts is a definite sign that fashion is saying goodbye to dressing little girls and hello to dressing women. What I mean is, sheer can be both sweet and spicy. Revel in your own sheer bliss this Spring no matter what direction you choose...

Gap European Collection Tie-Neck Pintuck Top: Love It or Hate It?

Lately I've been pondering why girls wear tie-neck blouses because they're generally not flattering.

Lately I've been pondering why girls wear tie-neck blouses because they're generally not flattering. This Gap Tie-Neck Pintuck Top, $88, from the limited-edition European collection, backs up my theory. It looks too matronly and does nothing for a gal's figure. What's your take?
