When I saw Jennifer Hudson wearing BCBG's Drape Sheath Dress back in July, I thought it hugged her figure so well and was just the right color for her. Today, I came across actress Lauren Leech wearing the same dress at the Sydney White premiere. Both ladies bring a completely different vibe to the dress. Jennifer is va-va-voom and sexy, while Lauren is girly and simple. I prefer it on Jennifer because the dress drowns Lauren out. Who do you think wore it better?

Like her daddy Donald, Ivanka Trump is expanding her resume and this time it includes fine jewelry designer. Creating bling is not completely random for Ivanka; she grew up around her mother Ivana's stunning collection of diamonds and gems. Naturally, she drew inspiration from that, as well as from the pieces her father has given her throughout the years.
The collection, which will be sold exclusively at her own boutiques (the first opened in New York last week) includes simple and classic diamond and platinum earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. We all love Target for bringing us designer duds for less, but when they look like this Alice Temperley for Target Crepe Skirtall, $30, I'm a little less excited.
The skirtall: we were friends in the early 90s, but since, we've become estranged. I'm not sure that I'm ready to kiss and make up just yet - our friendship almost seems better left in the past. What about you, are you ready to rekindle the skirtall flame?

A little rain didn't stop Vanessa Hudgens and beau Zac Efron from having lunch at Aroma Cafe in Studio City over the weekend. And a little wetness didn't keep Vanessa from dressing stylishly. I know she looks a bit old for her age here, but I still approve because she looks comfy and sophisticated. I dig the way she tied her silk scarf around her neck, her cool boots, and of course her Balenciaga bag. Hey, at least she didn't try dressing too young for her age like so many Hollywoodians.
In the upcoming season of "Ugly Betty," don't be surprised if you see Vera Wang's face pop up! The designer best known for her wedding gowns was spotted in Los Angeles last week, taping a segment of the show about what else but the upcoming wedding of one of the "Betty" characters. Vera wears her trademark leggings and reportedly plays a nastier version of herself. Sounds like good entertainment!
Just when you thought it was goodbye "Sex and the City" forever, we hear the news of a movie in the works. Then, we learn about a new show, based in New York, around four women, who are also to be styled by SATC wardrobe guru Patricia Field, "Cashmere Mafia." I instantly thought: someone is trying to reinvent SATC, and I'm not so sure how I feel about that. I want to embrace the possibility but I am also a slave to SATC and believe it can never be duplicated. Emulated, yes. That is what I see here.
Now that both productions are in the works, we have the inside peek into the SATC wardrobe and the Cashmere Mafia costumes. Already, I see fabulousness - that would be the brilliance of Pat Field - but I also see similarities. It's obvious Lucy is supposed to be the quirky one (Carrie), which doesn't always fly, Bonnie Somerville is the powerful blonde (Samantha), and then you have the elegant brunette and token redhead. Am I being critical, or is "Cashmere Mafia" the new Fab foursome?
It's a mellow Saturday morning, and you're ready to relax.
