Fab Finding Follow Up: Saturday Yoga and Yummy Brunch

Earlier this week, I asked you to imagine it's a mellow Saturday morning (soon!), and you're ready to relax.

Earlier this week, I asked you to imagine it's a mellow Saturday morning (soon!), and you're ready to relax. To help you get to a more peaceful state of being after a whirlwind week, you're going to yoga and then heading straight to brunch, "Sex and the City"-style, to catch up with a few of your girlfriends. You want to stay pretty low-key, but still look cute, because you never know who you might meet along the way!

I started you off with these Stella McCartney for Adidas Thala Shoes, $95, because they're adorable, perfect for both yoga and brunch, and won't give you blisters! To see all the yoga to brunch Fab Finds, go here.

Let's see what you all came up with!

Oh! Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

Look #1, created by nikkeeb is for sure yoga to brunch-ready. I love her color choices, the pants look so comfy, and the headband is perfect for holding back that post-workout hair!

The Future "Project Runway" Hopefuls!

As you know, we are counting down the days until "Project Runway" Season Four debuts.

As you know, we are counting down the days until "Project Runway" Season Four debuts. Come November, we will be in pure fashion designer competition bliss — perfect to curl up and catch a marathon on a stormy Saturday, while taking breaks to do some gift shopping online. I painted a nice picture huh? Anyway, the new breed has been released and here is the first group photo. You have our favorite judges — Heidi, Nina and Michael — and of course, the mentor with the most soothing voice, Tim Gunn. And just look at the colorful bunch! This is fashion fun just waiting to happen.

I went ahead and judged these aspiring designers by their covers and here are my three picks, purely based on personal style. On the left there's the pretty girl, Jillian, who hails from Long Island and is a Parsons alum (nice). In the center is stud muffin Rami, who lists Alexander McQueen as a favorite designer and claims a hot pair of leather boots is a fashion must, fierce. On the right is the lovely Victorya, who spells her name cool and already claims polished with an edge according to this outfit. You know my first favorites, read more about them all here — who are yours?!

I Want This Wardrobe

I Want This Wardrobe: Gossip Girl

"Gossip Girl" debuted last week and though I was skeptical at first, it has done a fabulous job of nurturing my "The O.C."

"Gossip Girl" debuted last week and though I was skeptical at first, it has done a fabulous job of nurturing my "The O.C." withdrawals.

In the second episode last night, Serena van der Woodsen's current frenemy Blair Waldorf had an exceptional wardrobe, one of them being a delicate white eyelet dress she wore to to a fundraiser brunch at a posh hotel. Like a true rich girl, she donned pearl bracelets, a girlie headband and just to spice things up, a pair of sexy patterned tights. Sticking with the innocent-but-sexy motif, she wore black patent Mary Janes on her feet.

Do you love her ensemble as much as I do? Get the look below...and don't forget to watch the show next week then check back here for more fabulous outfits!

Fab Flash: The Fendi Baguette is Baaaaccck

How appropriate is this: just as SJP is traipsing around Manhattan filming the "Sex and the City" movie, the handbag that was her faithful SATC sidekick, the Fendi Baguette, is getting another spin today on the runway.

How appropriate is this: just as SJP is traipsing around Manhattan filming the "Sex and the City" movie, the handbag that was her faithful SATC sidekick, the Fendi Baguette, is getting another spin today on the runway.

The bag was first launched in 1997, so for its ten-year anniversary, it's getting a makeover! For Spring, Fendi redesigned the bag in four sizes, from small to extra large - many feature a detachable strap that turns them into clutches, or for the larger versions, they can be transformed into messenger bags.

The bags are made in all different kinds of materials, from python to plasticized leathers, and many come lavishly embellished, too. Sounds like one of the original "It" bags may be "It" all over again...

Gucci

Milan Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Gucci

Grease was the word at Gucci.

Grease was the word at Gucci. Or at least, that's where my imagination went. A bold collection that's a bit 80s, a bit 50s - this is what Rizzo would be wearing if she were real life today. From the leather jackets to the origami pleating on cropped jackets, tops, and skirts, Frida Giannini meshed the classic with the new very well. The prints were fantastic; just when I thought I'd seen every black and white graphic print known to man, Gucci squiggles, plaid-on-plaid, and radical flowers showed me up. With bursts of coral and canary, the collection was topped off with cool black patent accessories, notably, very covetable shoes.

I'll take everything but the over-fabricated one-shoulder gowns and the high waisted slouchy skinnies!

Victoria Beckham was spotted at Narita Airport in Japan looking put together as usual and carrying her favorite Birkin bag. The long colorblock scarf is refreshing and lends to a casual feel, which we rarely see on Posh. She shows us that blazers are no longer only reserved for the office. We'll forgive her this time for not smiling — she's heading to London to visit David's father who had a heart attack. We wish him well.

Which "The Hills" Girl Has the Best Wardrobe?

Hello my name is Fab and I am a "The Hills"-a-holic.

Hello my name is Fab and I am a "The Hills"-a-holic. I have seen every single episode but I am loving Season Three more than the others. This has partly (ok, mostly) to do with the fact that the girls — Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge and Heidi Montag — are always dressed so well. Some characters (hint hint: LC and Whitney) are dressing better than the rest, but overall, their wardrobes are much more posh this time around.

For instance, in the episode titled "Surprise Engagement", LC wore Alexander Wang, Chanel and Diane von Furstenberg's dotted dress...the episode was only 30 minutes long!

I like LC and Whitney's wardrobes (thanks to Teen Vogue) the most, but Whitney wins by a hair because she has effortless-cool down to a tee. Which "The Hills" girl do you think has the best wardrobe?

Look of the Day

Look of the Day: Belt it Out

My goal for featuring this belt it out outfit is to inspire everyone to look deep in their closet, just like syako did, to find an old item that hasn't been worn in years.

My goal for featuring this belt it out outfit is to inspire everyone to look deep in their closet, just like syako did, to find an old item that hasn't been worn in years. This Fab-ionista adds pizazz to her work outfit with a red studded belt, circa 2001. Way to make the old new again!

Here's what she has on:

  • Shirt: Express
  • Sweater: Ann Taylor Loft
  • Pants: Paul and Joe for Target
  • Shoes: Cole Haan
  • Belt: Gap
  • Bag: LL Bean

Congrats to syako!
