Fabworthy: Peter Som for Glamour Limited Edition Tee

Remember I told you about Glamour Magazine's 'Fashion Gives Back' tees?

Remember I told you about Glamour Magazine's 'Fashion Gives Back' tees? Well, they're finally here for your buying pleasure! Although Marchesa, Jovovich-Hawk, Thakoon and Erin Fetherston all contributed to the collection, the one I'm crushing on is this Peter Som for Glamour Limited Edition Tee, $68.

I love the lace and and bow details because they take the white tee from plain to girly. And there's just enough design on the tee to keep you stylish yet simple. Plus, for every one purchased, 6 bed nets will be donated to women and children in Tanzania.

So help fashion give back to those less fortunate than you!

Simply Fab: RedEnvelope Leather Jewelry Portfolio

Whenever I travel, I never know how to keep my jewelry in order.

Whenever I travel, I never know how to keep my jewelry in order. I've tried a number of things, but my necklaces always somehow seem to end up tangled and jumbled up in a big ball of chains and charms.

When I saw this RedEnvelope Leather Jewelry Portfolio, $75 (originally $89), I thought: "Brilliant!" And then: "Why didn't I think of that?!"

It's inspired by the portfolios that professional jewelers carry around, and it's perfect for travel, since it has zippered compartments, snap hooks, earring holders, and a ring holder. That way, everything will stay in its place, and I won't spend time untangling it all.

Fabarazzi! Zooey Deschanel Look-A-Like!

Here's a special Fashion Week Fabarazzi!

Here's a special Fashion Week Fabarazzi!

I just got back from the Erin Fetherston show and spotted an adorable Zooey Deschanel look alike, (which thanks to one of our readers has been identified as Katy Perry). Her pretty in pink outfit certainly stood out in the front row. She looks like she just stepped out of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? with her bright pink getup and fabulous little hat. The green shoes are a unique touch and her see-through studded bag is cool. Is that an iPhone in there Geek?

Stay tuned for more Fabarazzi live from Fashion Week!

Celebrity Style: Jenny McCarthy

Jenny McCarthy did a little shopping with her son Evan during Labor Day weekend. Though the black and white stripe combo isn't revolutionary, Jenny still manages to look fashionable in her Ella Moss dress. Perhaps it's the Fendi bag and Chloe booties that transform the outfit from simple to simply fabulous. And those mile-high stems don't hurt either!

New York Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Rachel Comey

You know how there's this male fantasy about a buttoned up but secretly sexy librarian?

You know how there's this male fantasy about a buttoned up but secretly sexy librarian? Rachel Comey's Spring collection was a hodge-podge of sassy primped up looks.

It took place in a rec center gym where you could literally smell the dust. But the live surfer tune band and comprehensive collection made up for the musk. Offering separates from flirty skirts, tie neck blouses, high waisted capris to completely cute cut out dresses - there was something for everyone. The retro prints of floral and art mixed things up, and the palette was sometimes rich, sometimes muted. Lightweight knits made a cameo, as well as sporty T-backs, supplying edge to the good girl vibe. Rachel topped off her sexy librarians with thick-rimmed specs and crimped side dos. Silence please!

New York Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Josh Goot

When his invitation came in the mail, backed with a smattering of watercolored spatters in yellow, pinks, reds, blues, and teals, I was a bit iffy about Josh Goot.

When his invitation came in the mail, backed with a smattering of watercolored spatters in yellow, pinks, reds, blues, and teals, I was a bit iffy about Josh Goot. But seeing the young Australian's designs in person, I take all skepticism back.

Let me just say that his trademark jersey dresses are simply gorgeous. His Spring collection reminds me of a cross between Calvin Klein's 2008 Cruise collection (similar color palette), and anything Christopher Kane (those tight, short little dresses). There was black, white, teal, lavender, gold, silver; lots of asymmetrical colorblocking. The occasional print popped up - a black and white ripple-inspired print, and the aforementioned watercolor print, which looked very pretty in person. The makeup was also pretty and natural.

But to see the clothes move, now that's what made me swoon. No question, Josh Goot was one of my favorites of the day.

mocelebgossisme had dinner at a restaurant on the water so why not go dressed as a sassy sailorette?

mocelebgossisme had dinner at a restaurant on the water so why not go dressed as a sassy sailorette? I love it when LBDs come to life with funky details like gold buttons and white piping. And I am lusting over those ankle-strap sandals...very Gucci!

Here's what she has on:

  • Dress: Bebe
  • Shoes: Peluso
  • Bag: Walter Valentino

Congrats to mocelebgossisme!
