It's been a while since I've written about my pal Lauren Conrad and I had to share the news.

It's been a while since I've written about my pal Lauren Conrad and I had to share the news. According to her blog, Lauren will be holding a fashion show for her Fall '08 collection. There are no deets yet but the big question is: Are you showing at New York Fashion Week next month?! We're gearing up for it over here, and I hope to at least see LC there. Better yet, see her new collection. We'll keep you posted, in the meantime, has anyone noticed her website redesign? It's fun and updated frequently, so any big LC fans be sure to check it out.

Fab Finding Follow Up: Presenting to the Big Boss

It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes we have to buck up and present to the big guys at the office.

It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes we have to buck up and present to the big guys at the office.

No one wants to commit a travesty quite like the prom dress Whitney wore while presenting to Teen Vogue editor Amy Astley on The Hills, so I asked you to put together a sophisticated, office-appropriate ensemble. That way, you can wow 'em with your words, your work, and your looks.

I started you off with this Cartier Small Tank Solo Steel Watch ($2,100) because it's always chic and will keep you on time for the meeting. Be sure to check out all the big presentation Fab Finds.

Let's see what you all came up with!

Oh! Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab-Finding missions.

Look #1, created by Mel475, is a no-nonsense approach. Perfect for the girl on the go!

Style For Style: So Long Sweater Fuzzies

If you were to take your sweaters, like this BCBG Max Azria Color Block Cardigan ($154, originally $258), to the dry cleaner every single time they gathered fuzz, well, you'd be paying up the wazoo.

If you were to take your sweaters, like this BCBG Max Azria Color Block Cardigan ($154, originally $258), to the dry cleaner every single time they gathered fuzz, well, you'd be paying up the wazoo. It's only inevitable that after a couple of wears, the annoying pills come back. There has to be a cheaper, more convenient way to get rid of fuzz without using a fabric shaver. Wait, there is!

Spring Peek: Gimme Shoes

What is Fab's Achilles’ heel?

What is Fab's Achilles’ heel? Gimme shoes! Designer, contemporary, cheapy, high, flat, boots, ladylike, utilitarian, edgy — I want it all. This Spring is going to be a dangerous one because the shoe offerings are a plenty and a fabulous. I already touched on the unexpected but very cool boots of Spring, and a storm of gladiators is coming to cover many a feet come warmer days. As for the rest? Like this oddball from Marc Jacobs (pictured), they'll knock your socks off.

Celebrity Style: Jenny McCarthy

Jenny McCarthy stopped at Agent Provocateur on Melrose looking quite fierce in her Karen Zambos cashmere cardigan and Chloe ankle boots.

Jenny McCarthy stopped at Agent Provocateur on Melrose looking quite fierce in her Karen Zambos cashmere cardigan and Chloe ankle boots. I love it when an understated ensemble is given a kick of color, like Jenny's patent cobalt bag. In her case, the bold accessory lends a playful tone to her otherwise serious look.

Fab Flash: Designers Partner with Gilt.com

A new partnership has just been formed that will allow sample sale fans to get their fix from the comfort of their own home!

A new partnership has just been formed that will allow sample sale fans to get their fix from the comfort of their own home! The Council of Fashion Designers of America has joined with Gilt.com to give CFDA members — think Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore — the option of doing their sample sales online.

Already, Marchesa, Rachel Roy, and Bulgari have teamed with Gilt Groupe's Gilt.com for the site's one-day designer-specific online sales, and Behnaz Sarafpour and Sari Gueron have upcoming sales in the works. Gilt Groupe offers 3-4 online sales per week — for sale access, you must be a referred member, but once accepted, there are no fees involved. Everyone loves a sample sale, right?!
