Designer Spotlight: Keep Me

Ali Kay and Anne des Barres are a match made in heaven — Diane von Furstenberg heaven, that is.

Ali Kay and Anne des Barres are a match made in heaven — Diane von Furstenberg heaven, that is. DVF introduced the two: Anne was working for her at the time, and Ali was her son's girlfriend.

From the chance introduction, Keep Me was born — a new loungewear collection without all the frills. In just the year and a half that Keep Me has existed, its first collection sold out at Bendel's, and it has garnered celeb fans like Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Aniston, and Courtney Cox. No wonder: Ali and Anna decided to stick with muted solids accented by athletic-inspired striped elastic — sounds cozy, luxurious, and even a little sexy.

Marc Jacobs

Simply Fab: Marc Jacobs Daisy Solid Perfume Ring

I am a sucker for dual-functioning fashion items.

I am a sucker for dual-functioning fashion items. Especially if it bears the name of one of my favorite American designers (Marc Jacobs) and evokes feelings of one of the most innocent flowers (daisies). This Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' Solid Perfume Ring ($30) borders on Bella territory, but the white and gold enamel ring is definitely Fab. It reminds me of those lip-gloss rings that certainly come in handy . . .

Trend Alert

Trend Alert: Citrus Sinensis

Get ready to get revitalized with a taste of citrus sinensis.

Get ready to get revitalized with a taste of citrus sinensis. So it's January, even more reason to take a bite out of orange, tangerine, sherbert or blood orange. To pair with brown or black is the question. Yes and yes is the answer. I wouldn't go metallic (maybe bronze?), so keep your brown and blacks minimal and chic. Preferably, I like some citrus sinensis with some skin — case in point Aisha Tyler in Kenneth Cole at the Cloverfield premiere.

Who Wore It Better? Balmain Black Strapless Embellished Dress

You all know Diane Kruger is one of my modern-day icons, but model Daria Werbowy posed some threat to my girl in her Balmain black strapless embellished dress at the Sideaction Diner de la Mode event in Paris.

You all know Diane Kruger is one of my modern-day icons, but model Daria Werbowy posed some threat to my girl in her Balmain black strapless embellished dress at the Sideaction Diner de la Mode event in Paris. Diane wore it in a more sophisticated fashion at the 2007 Movies Rock in December, while Daria went a bit more edgy in over-the-knee boots and fur. Two polar opposite looks, but which girl rocks your world?

Fab Finding

Come Fab Finding With Me: Fab and Bella Are Heading to Fashion Week!

Another season, another exciting round of fashion week!

Another season, another exciting round of fashion week! Bella and I are jetting off to New York Fashion Week to witness the Fall 2008 collections, but this time we'll need to dress extra warm as it's frigid in the Big Apple. As always, we need your expertise to help keep us fashion forward.

I'll start you off with this Yves Saint Laurent Capri Large Flap Hobo ($1,595) because it's a vision in winter white and big enough to hold all my fashion-blogger goods.

Let's go Fab Finding for an avant-garde yet cozy fashion-week outfit. Be sure to come back and tell me your Fab Finds are up, or just tag your Fab Finds with Fab Fashion Week.

Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab-Finding missions.

Jonathan Saunders For Topshop Dress: Love It or Hate It?

Ever since I found out about Topshop's capsule collections, I have been anticipating Jonathan Saunders' work .

Ever since I found out about Topshop's capsule collections, I have been anticipating Jonathan Saunders' work . . . until now. This Jonathan Saunders for Topshop Dress ($149) is unattractive and unwearable, in my opinion. He has designed such gorgeous frocks for Thandie Newton and the likes, but when it comes to us less-wealthy customers, he falls short. What's your take?

holleighz could stop traffic with her asymmetrical colorblocked ensemble. I love that she tempers the hard-edged feel of her outfit with a feminine mop of curly hair.

Here's what she has on:

  • Top: Arden B
  • Sweater: Limited
  • Leggings: Gap
  • Boots: Tribeca

Congrats to holleighz!
