Mischa Barton parted ways with former stylist Rachel Zoe late last year, so now she has a new way of dressing herself: "For the most part, I put my own looks together. I just flick through magazines, or notice stuff I like and call it in. I’m not a huge shopper," she said. That would explain her recent dowdy outfits. Maybe it's time to rehire Zoe? Just a thought.

You can barely tell that Halle Berry is pregnant at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards. For that, she owes thanks to Temperley London's Papillon Mini Dress ($1,625). It's a hefty price to pay for a dress you'll wear once, but not if you're a mega star. I take it she couldn't refuse the darling asymmetrical ruffle layer and the artsy knit yoke — top it off with a Rickard Shah clutch and you have Halle, the goddess.
Sorry, but I just lost a wee bit of respect for Giuseppe, due to this Giuseppe Zanotti Architectural Wedge Sandal ($750). Because all his other footwear is so glam, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he had a momentary lapse in judgment. What do you say?

To kick off New York Fashion Week on Jan. 31, Barneys New York has recruited designers for Earth Pledge's FutureFashion runway show. Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Jil Sander, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Narciso Rodriguez, and Versace are all signed up to create one-of-a-kind designs promoting renewable, reusable, and nonpolluting materials. After the runway show, some of the designs will be on display in Barneys Madison Avenue windows for three weeks, starting Feb. 1, so if you're in the area, be sure to check it out!
I'm thrilled for Eva Longoria because she got her cold-weather ensemble just right; no frills, no excess. While shopping with hubby Tony, the petite actress kept warm in a gray Rebecca Taylor cardigan and gray leather platform boots. Though this monochrome outfit has all the elements for matchy matchiness, Eva pulls it off by throwing in a metallic hobo and dark sunnies. Looks like the chilly weather is treating Eva quite well!
