Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl Fashion Quiz: Episode 13 "The Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate"

It is really sad that Gossip Girl is over, temporarily, but what a great finale episode it was.

It is really sad that Gossip Girl is over, temporarily, but what a great finale episode it was. While I couldn't keep my eyes off Serena's endless fabulous coat collection, all the twists and turns left me seriously wanting more. All secrets and lies revealed, B quickly went from the top to rock bottom. As one of her followers schooled her, "Consider yourself dethroned Queen B." Whoa. But friendship prevailed and Serena rescued her bestie from escaping her fears. In the meantime, Serena faced her own fears in matters of the heart. And little Jenny is on the up and up. Bubbly for all! Sort of. Until next season, take our last fashion quiz below. xoxo

Looking Back: Golden Globe's Best-Dressed Ladies

Since the writers' strike is putting a damper on the Golden Globe's red carpet (sniff), I thought it would be fun to go back and reminisce about the best-dressed ladies of the Globe's red carpet.

Since the writers' strike is putting a damper on the Golden Globe's red carpet (sniff), I thought it would be fun to go back and reminisce about the best-dressed ladies of the Globe's red carpet. I selected a few obvious and some not-so-obvious picks. They run the gamut from long to short, bright to dim, dramatic to simple. Enjoy the slideshow and feel free to nominate your favorites!

Who Wore It Better? Alexander McQueen Asymmetrical Drape Dress

Yesterday I showed you how to get Lucy's hot-pink Alexander McQueen Look For Less, and today she's up for a style battle.

Yesterday I showed you how to get Lucy's hot-pink Alexander McQueen Look For Less, and today she's up for a style battle. The dress she wore for her Late Show appearance earlier this week is one and the same as the black McQueen dress Sienna Miller wore for the premiere of her film Interview back in October. Lucy went more bold with brighter color and leather gloves, while Sienna played it sleek and chic with a contrasting clutch and chandelier earrings. Who wins?!

Fabworthy: Marciano Analisa Metallic Gladiator Sandal

This Marciano Analisa Metallic Gladiator Sandal ($200) is the closest we're going to get to looking like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

This Marciano Analisa Metallic Gladiator Sandal ($200) is the closest we're going to get to looking like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It's daring, in your face, and designed for the boldest gals out there. It's currently not sold online, but fret not; find a Marciano store near you and get going.

To prevent looking like a fashion freak, make sure the rest of your outfit is simple and chic. I'm talking an all-black ensemble and simple jewels. Let the shoe do all the talking, er shouting . . . it sure has lots to say!

Trendtotting: Cherry Cherry Cute Last year in the early Spring, I started to think about my child's first Easter and what she would wear for the dressy occasion. Hailing from the South, I imagined I'd doll her up in a smocked dress or something absurdly cute with bunnies or easter eggs adorning it. But when I came across the famous cherry outfit ($60) that JFK, Jr. wore as a little boy, I knew that's what I wanted for her.

Fab Ad: Penelope and Monica Cruz For MNG Mango

As promised here is the new batch of Penelope and Monica Cruz's ads for their new collection for MNG Mango.

As promised here is the new batch of Penelope and Monica Cruz's ads for their new collection for MNG Mango. Shot by Mert and Marcus, the women play with sexuality. In one shot they aim for sexy androgyny and in the other vivid candy apple flirtation. I think these look wonderfully all American; like from the pages of Vogue. Here's a fun game: Try to figure out which sister is which. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the sisterly resemblance is uncanny. What's more, these clothes are cute! They look classic, but fun, and aren't too trendy. The new 38-piece collection for Mango will hit stores mid-February.

Spring Peek: Frills

I enjoy being a girl.

I enjoy being a girl. . . . If you find yourself romanced by ruffles, folds, and flowers start saving up because this Spring is all about frills. For those who oppose the dominant menswear trend, no fear, girliness is here. Channel your inner My Fair Lady, per Ralph Lauren (pictured), or simply have frilly fun.

Celebrity Style: Jessica Stam

French shoe brand Repetto celebrated the launch of its Repetto Foundation last night, and model Jessica Stam was among the fabulously dressed guests.

French shoe brand Repetto celebrated the launch of its Repetto Foundation last night, and model Jessica Stam was among the fabulously dressed guests. Usually, the mix of metallic and ruffles has the potential to be a fashion tornado, but Jessica manages to look playful and chic in her Zsa Zsa frock. I'm glad she understood that the dress is loud enough to keep the rest of her look simple: A black patent clutch, black patent pumps, and antique drop earrings did the trick.

Fab Flash: Kate Bosworth Fronting Calvin Klein Jeans

Kate Bosworth has long been a fan of Calvin Klein, and it looks like the brand is reciprocating the sentiment: She landed the Spring ad campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans.

Kate Bosworth has long been a fan of Calvin Klein, and it looks like the brand is reciprocating the sentiment: She landed the Spring ad campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans. The images were shot by David Sims in New York and aim to represent a "clean, pure and simple all-American" look. This is the actress' first global campaign, which will break in February issues of fashion magazines.
