Eva Mendes

This Week's Fab Favorite: Eva Mendes

Isn't Eva a knock out?

Isn't Eva a knock out? No wonder her Calvin Klein lingerie ads were deemed too steamy for US boob tubes. She kept things modern and cool while promoting the new bra line at Harrods in London this week. Her structured dress has the right hint of color — pistachio green — and reminds me how colorblocking can be very flattering. Her Kara Ross stacked bangles and cocktail ring add some glamour to the structured sheath. And, she looks like she just threw them on, which is key. Strong shoes support the graphic look; her black suede Calvin Klein platforms are totally ladylike. Add flawless makeup, the best blow out ever and a knowing smile and this lingerie model is ready to rumble.

Simply Fab: Kelly Ripa Fights For Ovarian Cancer Awareness

Can we give Kelly a round of applause?

Can we give Kelly a round of applause? I don't know if this falls under the celebrity designer category, but it does fall under the fashion for a cause umbrella — even better. Kelly Ripa's design endeavor is all about charity and spreading the word on ovarian cancer.

In an effort to raise money and awareness, Ripa helped design this cute t-shirt where all proceeds will benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Are you down for the cause? This limited edition tee costs $30 and is available at ElectroluxAppliances.com.

Love It or Hate It

Urban Outfitters Kill City Marble Wash Jeans: Love It or Hate It?

These Urban Outfitters Kill City Marble Wash Jeans ($78) may look funky at first glance, but I'm all about the potential.

These Urban Outfitters Kill City Marble Wash Jeans ($78) may look funky at first glance, but I'm all about the potential. These jeans remind me of a Balmain look from the Spring shows. Like Balmain, I would wear these with heels and a leather jacket, but I'm not sure if I should take the '80s plunge. What do you think?

Fab Ad: Rock & Republic Fall '08

Rock & Republic stuck to what it knew best for its Fall Campaign — rock.

Rock & Republic stuck to what it knew best for its Fall Campaign — rock. That said Malgosia Bela and Vladimir Roitfeld look pretty bored for portraying rock stars. The photo shoot, shot by Mark Segal and directed by Julia Roitfeld, depicts the two in their R&R gear amongst a slew of amplifiers and wires. The set looks stark and overly clean; musicians don't live like that!

Julia should of added a little dirt and grime to make the scene more realistic. On the plus side, the clothes are great and Malgosia looks rocker ready in her boots and fur. What do you think?

Celebrity Style: Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington and her new bangs attended the Courage in Journalism Awards in Beverly Hills last night.

Kerry Washington and her new bangs attended the Courage in Journalism Awards in Beverly Hills last night. The actress stunned in a light gray Peter Som corset dress that hugged her in all the right places. But the real star of the night was her gorgeous black rhinestone necklace. Wow. It sits perfectly on her smooth decollete and provides the right amount of pizazz. Black accessories elevate the look. Just lovely.

Fab Finding

Come Fab Finding: Shakespeare in the Park

All this Halloween talk has me in the mood for some make-believe fun.

All this Halloween talk has me in the mood for some make-believe fun. Since Halloween is still a couple weeks away, my friends and I will have to make do with watching Shakespeare in the park this weekend. The weather is perfect for an evening full of tales and folklore. To get in the spirit, help me put together a Shakespeare-inspired ensemble without looking too literal.

I'll start you off with this Sarah & Fran Peacock Headband ($85) because it's whimsical and fun.

Let's go Fab Finding. Be sure to come back and tell me your Fab Finds are up, or just tag your Fab Finds with Shakespeare play.

Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.
