A friend of mine has a new boyfriend and it's time for us to meet. I told you we're keeping it casual by having delicious sandos at a nearby deli. First impressions count so I wanted to look cool and laid-back. I didn't want anything over flashy — I don't want to appear high maintenance.

'Tis the season for sweaters! My hunt for the perfect pull-on led me to this Express Open-Knit Sweater ($30, originally $60). The color is lovely, and I fancy the fuzzy mohair texture. I would wear it like the model pictured left, with light denim and stacked bangles.
