Because I'm a volunteer at a local organization, I've been invited to an appreciation dinner. I've never been to one of these so I needed your help putting together the perfect outfit. It's a formal event with dinner and speeches. There won't be any dancing, so I was thinking a skirt ensemble or fancy pants would do.
I started you off with this Deepa Gurnani Viscose Clutch in Teal and Brown ($80) because it's eye-catching. Let's see what you all dreamed up!
Look #1, created by Brielle, maintains the purple/green theme. It would be so fun to wear.

I go ga-ga over anything sparkly and Swarovski. These Swarovski Flight Clip Earrings ($70) instantly caught my eye. The wing shape is cool and the dark hued stones are divine. But clip-ons? Bum deal. Agreed?

Another girl who's on trend is actress Emma Roberts, who laced up in Chanel at the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in LA. Karl's designs may be out of your reach but there are plenty affordable and stylish options out there. Since the fabric can be a matronly, be sure to sexy it up with a flirty silhouette a la Emma. Bottom line, buckle down and lace yourself.
