If you need a 2009 calendar, let me suggest the most fashionable out there: the W Hotels/CFDA 2009 Calendar ($15). What makes this more special than others? For one, it's designed to look like a sketchbook, includes blank sketch pages, and has room to hold a pencil.

Coolest part, 12 designers, — Diane von Furstenberg, the Rag & Bone boys, Victoria Bartlett — were asked to contribute an exclusive image that has inspired their creative process. Plus, 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the CFDA Foundation. I can't think of one reason not to buy this calendar.

I'm still smitten with vests. They're versatile, chic, and have a cool menswear vibe. Peep this Alexander Wang Knit Vest ($317). I can easily wear this slouchy vest alone or layered with a thin, long-sleeved top. The ruched pockets and deep v-neck lends a unique touch but it's way out of my budget. After the following experience, I vow to never toss out my gum on the floor again. I was ordering a drink at a nice bar recently when I felt my shoe sticking to the ground. Shoot, I stepped on gum. How did that happen? No time to dwell, I had to get the gum off, pronto. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, I wasn't wearing this swoon-worthy Proenza Schouler Elastic Wrap Sandal ($595), but I was wearing a newly purchased shoe I love.

You're looking at the latest winner of the 2008 V Magazine V A Model! competition — Addison Gill. She follows in the footsteps of the previous winner Amanda Laine. Soon, you'll also be seeing Addison's delicate face all over magazine editorials, ads, and runways. In fact, she's set to strut the February shows. If the 16-year-old's career mimics Amanda's, she will open for major designers.

If you're down for the saving the environment, show off your fashionable do-gooder side with Teresa Missoni's cool tee. Margherita's little sister, along with Angela Lindvall and Irina Lazareanu, are part of LENY's (Limited Edition New York) campaign to save the climate. T-shirts, retailing for a whopping $180, will be available next month. Pretty pricey but it's for a good cause. Latin pop singer Paulina Rubio and her luscious curls partied the night away in Miami Beach last night. The occasion called for a foxy look and the singer delivered in a black and white striped mini dress, Yves Saint Laurent Tribute platforms, and a classic Chanel bag. What I particularly like is how her short-sleeve cardigan is much longer than her dress. It lends nonchalance to an otherwise put-together look.
