Fabworthy: Borrowing Jewels For Your Wedding

Do celebrities think they're the only ones who can borrow jewels?

Do celebrities think they're the only ones who can borrow jewels? Pshaw! With Bag Borrow or Steal's wedding shop, you can wear breathtaking bling for your nuptials without having to up your budget. Among the gorgeous goodies on loan are clutches by Judith Leiber and Badgley Mischka and jewels by Vera Wang, Gucci, and more.

Personally, when I get married, given the shop still exists, I would love to steal — I mean borrow — Vera Wang's Victorian Bow Necklace ($50/week). If you don't have an account, sign up now, as the merchandise is cheaper for members. And if you're not getting hitched anytime soon, heck, borrow away anyway, because life's too short to not wear fabulous accessories. I know Rachel Zoe would agree.

Designer Spotlight

Designer Spotlight: Lily + Jae

In 2006, Canadian film and TV wardrobe designer Jude Feller looked high and low for detail-oriented, casual clothes for her clients but was unsuccessful in her search.

In 2006, Canadian film and TV wardrobe designer Jude Feller looked high and low for detail-oriented, casual clothes for her clients but was unsuccessful in her search. This prompted her to leave her job and create Lily + Jae, a line of contemporary streetwear designed for an energetic, innocent, and playful girl next door.

Two years later, the line, which has now crossed over to the US, is recognized for its flirty dresses, soft hoodies, coats, and high-waist trousers. Lily Allen, Ashlee Simpson, and Amy Smart are already fans. Online shopping is coming soon; contact for pricing info.

Look For Less

The Look For Less: Marni Balloon Bag

Last month, we gave away Cameron Diaz's canary version of this Marni Tabacco Balloon Handbag ($1,320) and you all flipped for it.

Last month, we gave away Cameron Diaz's canary version of this Marni Tabacco Balloon Handbag ($1,320) and you all flipped for it. I, too, have been lusting after the shape for many months; the only thing keeping me from springing for one of my own is that steep price.

Celebrity Style: Charlize Theron

I've been eyeing Derek Lam's draped, metallic dress for months now, hoping a celebrity would wear it.

I've been eyeing Derek Lam's draped, metallic dress for months now, hoping a celebrity would wear it. Sure enough, Charlize Theron attended the Meteor Irish Music Awards in Ireland in said frock and looked every bit the shining star. Her discreet accessories allow the dress to do all the razzle dazzling.

Fab Flash: Lauren Conrad to Show at LA Fashion Week

I told you I would keep you up to date on LC's fashion show, and I'm not one to break my word.

I told you I would keep you up to date on LC's fashion show, and I'm not one to break my word.

I was a little concerned when I didn't see Lauren's name on the schedule for New York Fashion Week, but all is well — she is set to show during LA Fashion Week, which happens next month, Mar. 9-13. The Smashbox Studios venue is definitely more fitting for The Lauren Conrad Collection's laid-back, California feel. I might be at LA Fashion Week, too, so I'm glad I didn't miss out on LC, after all!

Love It or Hate It

Free People Trimmy Trim Fringe Scarf: Love It or Hate It?

I'm sorry but this Free People Trimmy Trim Fringe Scarf ($58) has all the trimmings of a Christmas tree.

I'm sorry but this Free People Trimmy Trim Fringe Scarf ($58) has all the trimmings of a Christmas tree. The fringe, twists and tassels — is it too much? I can't help but think it looks a little mangy . . .

Trend Alert: Mochachinos

While I am more of a Chai latte girl, these ladies are making me yearn for a Mochachino.

While I am more of a Chai latte girl, these ladies are making me yearn for a Mochachino. If you looked in my closet the least color you will see is beige or camel or tan — you get my point. When I feel like going colorless I prefer black or grey. But always one with an open mind about fashion, I may reconsider. Rachel, Sarah and Emma prove a sip of a Mochachino does provide quite a jolt.

Fab Ad: Nina Ricci Spring/Summer '08

Nina Ricci's Spring/Summer '08 ad campaign can easily be mistaken for Fall/Winter ads.

Nina Ricci's Spring/Summer '08 ad campaign can easily be mistaken for Fall/Winter ads. The dark hues and layered clothes hardly scream Spring. Clearly that's what Olivier Theyskens was going for so he chose the ideal models — Karlie Kloss and Courtney Smerski — to convey the brooding mood. Regardless of the season, Mario Sorrenti's shots are captivating. They draw you in and make you want to dissect every aspect of each photo. But is it me or is Karlie Kloss (left) slightly upstaging Courtney? It may be her intense glare. What do you think about these ads?
