I love me some patent leather flats, and without meaning to, I have quite the personal collection. I won't say I've reached my quota — that'll never happen — and these cute vintage black flats ($19) are definitely tempting.
Thank goodness they're not my size, because the polka dot motif would look perfect with a bright-colored dress for Spring. If you're a size 8, they're calling your name . . .

I love how versatile Yves Saint Laurent's strapless grey dress is; you can dress is way up or way down. Julianne opted to dress hers up with standout jewels, and sleek hair and heavy makeup. Model Audrey Marnay went a more understated route in leggings and tousled hair. I'm all for disheveled chic but Julianne sparkles. Whose side are you on?
Tonight is part one of the Project Runway season finale, and I am biting my lip in anticipation!
To tide things over, Buzz challenged me to pull together my favorite looks from this season. Finalists Rami, Jillian, and Christian pepper the highlights, but there are a few surprises, too.

Christina Ricci arrived at JFK airport in NY with her adorable Frenchie, Ramon in tow. He and Annabelle would be such cute playmates! Mother and pup are both preppy — Christina in plaid and Ramon in argyle. She's kick-back and comfy, but doesn't sacrifice style. Have fun with your new buddy Christina!

Yesterday morning, New York City police officers seized more than $1 million in knockoff accessories and fragrances bearing labels like Prada, Fendi, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Coach.
Three buildings were raided on a block in Chinatown formed by Canal, Walker, and Centre Streets, which housed 32 storefronts illegally selling fake goods. According to Mayor Michael Bloomberg, this is one of the largest raids on trademark copiers in the city's history, following a seizure of $45 million in counterfeit merchandise back in 2005. Crazy!

I am guilty of it. Celebs are guilty of it. We're all guilty of dressing like what Mother Nature delivered that day. If it's dark & stormy outside, the temptation to reflect that through your dress is palpable. If you have the energy to resist and wear bright colors and a smile, go for it; if you just want to throw on some cozy, dark layers feel free to do that too. Just promise me one thing: always try to look your most Fab. Which is what I was thinking when I put together my own dark & stormy ensemble here.

Designers are choosing to present more wearable and less costumey looks for Fall. If there was one designer to confirm this retail-friendly trend, it's Jean Paul Gaultier and his Mongolian lacey lady. This look is a happy hodgepodge of autumnal colored fur, lace, animal print and velvet. And that fur hood? Fabulous! Some may pooh pooh this collection as tame, for the enfant terrible JPG, but I would rather be a Mongolian mistress than a pirate warrior. You?
