Gerard Darel handbags first took off when Eva Longoria and Jessica Alba were seen carrying their fringe style. Now the fringe has been shed and a sleeker purse has emerged: The Gerard Darel Midday Midnight Bag ($875), which Halle Berry, Lindsay Lohan, and Jessica Alba already own. It comes in green, blue, purple, and orange calf skin. If you want to be in with Hollywood right now, this is the bag to have.
With Spring in the air and flowers in bloom, my mind wanders toward bright colors and bold patterns. Perusing my favorite shopping sites, I pranced upon this Emilio Pucci Laser-Cut Suede Shift Dress ($2,900). Luckily, the dress comes attached with a nude slip so I won't have to worry about the laser cutouts. Is this dress Fabworthy or just an expensive rendition of the classic macramé?
Emma Watson walked her strappy sandaled feet down the red carpet at the Empire Film Awards 2008 in London yesterday. She went for a softer look with a ready-for-Spring strapless dress but added a harder edge with the wide-strap sandals and bracelet. I kind of like the juxtaposition. What about you?
Roland Mouret and Victoria Beckham have more in common than meets the eye.
They're both managed by American Idol creator Simon Fuller — her for the Spice Girls, him for his fashion line RM by Roland Mouret. Posh is often spotted wearing Roland's designs — some even call her the unofficial face of the brand. Now they've got more common ground than ever before: Rumor has it that Roland and Posh have teamed up to do a capsule collection together.
The Little Black Dress collection is said to be a line of ten dresses, likely very tailored, that will hopefully be on sale worldwide soon!
It all started when that the vice president of fashion merchandising at Barneys New York mentioned how tough it was to find good sweaters for Barneys Co-op. Lutz & Patmos partnered with Barneys Green and has created three eco-friendly styles for Spring and a handful of items for Fall. Each will retail for less than $300 at Barneys and one percent of all proceeds will benefit The Alliance for Climate Protection. Whether the duo plans to roll out the collection to other stores remains to be seen.
I knew this cardigan looked familiar when I saw it! When I interviewed Whitley Kros co-founder Sophia Banks at LA Fashion Week in October, she was wearing something similar to this Whitley Kros Navy and Creme Cardigan ($286). I love stripes so this would be great for a casual day of running errands. Do you love it or hate it?
The C-String invisible underwear got you all talking, but I somehow doubt it got you buying.
We all hate VPLs, but we're not all willing to sacrifice comfort to avoid them. Nundies ($15 for a pack of five) provides a happy medium between comfort and utility. You simply peel and paste on your pants or tights — no VPLs, no hassle of washing. Seeing as they're not cheap, I'd advise using Nundies for special occasions like Valentine's Day or a wedding. Oh, and if you dare to wear Hervé Léger's skin-tight dresses.
Hallelujah, it's finally Spring Break! You have been counting down the days until you and your buds hop on a plane to your beachy week-long getaway. Margaritas, bikinis, sandals, and fun in the sun are in order . . . so what are you packing?
I'll start you off with these Yves Saint Laurent Logo Sunglasses ($260) because they are hot, hot, hot!
