St Patrick's Day

Fab Finding Follow Up: A Fab St. Patty's Day

Let's be frank: head-to-toe green isn't vogue.

Let's be frank: head-to-toe green isn't vogue. Still, a St. Patty's Day party calls for something green. Getting sloshed on March 17 is no excuse to sacrifice style . . . so I asked you to look for an outfit that incorporates green but doesn't go overboard. Hope those who celebrated had fun last night!

I started you off with this Forever 21 Flower Ring ($5) because it reminds me of a hybrid shamrock. Let's see what you all came up with!
Look # 1, created by fashionhore is green, but not shabby. I love the combination of green and brown!

Fab Blab

We've bedazzled cell phones, iPods, Bluetooth headsets . . . and now the latest item being blinged out is the earplug. The Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID) has launched a competition to find an earplug that's socially acceptable.

"Because of Bluetooth headsets and iPods, people are getting more used to the idea of putting things in their ears that are fashionable," said a spokeswoman. Designer earplugs may cost you a bit more ($20-$30), but it may be worth it for those who go clubbing often. Would you consider investing in designer earplugs or would you rather succumb to hearing damage?

Glitterati: Joy O

Are you a fan of Joy O?

Are you a fan of Joy O? Well, Anne Hathaway sure is. With her jewelry spotted on celebrities at New York Fashion week, I'd suggest you keep your radar on this talented jewelry artisan.

Joys's jewelry making started out as a hobby when she found herself frustrated over her inability to find quality, handmade items. Formerly a high-school geology teacher, she decided to hone her passion for jewelry making in 2006 and started a full-fledged online business followed by a storefront located in San Francisco in 2007. Inspired by nature and modern architecture, her design aesthetic is a pure reflection of modernity and simplicity. I don't know about you, but these earrings and necklaces have me jumping for Joy O!

Celebrity Style: Katie Holmes

Why couldn't Katie Holmes have had lunch at Joan's on Third when I was there during LA Fashion Week?!

Why couldn't Katie Holmes have had lunch at Joan's on Third when I was there during LA Fashion Week?! Oh well. The actress took a break from gowns and opted for a more down-to-earth look for the afternoon. Still, she gave her yellow trench coat and black skinny jeans a kick of fancy via the strappy heels. Armani has its place, but I like the laid-back Katie!

Sneak Peek! Kate Moss For Topshop Spring 2008 Collection

It's hard to believe that Kate Moss is already releasing her fifth round of Topshop clothes, but the time is here.

It's hard to believe that Kate Moss is already releasing her fifth round of Topshop clothes, but the time is here. Her Spring collection debuted this morning in stores and online. Inspired by her extensive travel experiences in Ibiza, Miami, and India (lucky!), her latest offering focuses on the global traveler trend mixed in with her own boho-luxe style. The collection is eclectic with something for everyone: nautical tops, retro party dresses, Native American and Aztec prints, and embroidery aplenty. The thread that pulls it all together is that it's all very Kate, indeed.

Jade Jagger Satin Skull Beaded Bracelet: Love It or Hate It?

I swear Jade Jagger reads Fab.

I swear Jade Jagger reads Fab. Shortly after I announced her a Fabcon, her new jewelry line popped up in ELLE and our favorite shopping websites. Obviously I dig her boho, rock n' roll vibe, but aren't we a little over skulls? Most of her jewelry line involves the motif that flourished last Spring, i.e. this Jade Jagger Satin Skull Beaded Bracelet ($255). I still like skulls, I would just rather be wearing stars around my wrist right now. Thoughts?
