In just 10 (fingers crossed . . . short) hours, The Hills returns – please tell me I'm not the only one tuning in tonight?! In the spirit of the show – and like a true fan – I'm taking you waaay back to an old episode when LC says she has a smile like Cheshire Cat. As an informal poll, are these two twinsies or what?

In the wrong hands, or rather on the wrong waist, a belt can look out of place, but if worn tastefully, it can work wonders. Take for example a voluminous blouson top; sans belt, it's shapeless, but with one, your waist is accentuated. Patricia Field can back me up on this.
On the Spring runways, belts ran the gamut from starry, see YSL (left), to geometric at Fendi, to suave at Gucci. There's plenty to go around, so find your match, and belt it out . . . loud!
Fall ad campaign shoots are jumping into full swing, and the latest intelligence comes from Paris, by way of Yves Saint Laurent.
Rumor has it Spring YSL campaign model Kate Moss has been ousted in favor of another controversy-embroiled supermodel: Naomi Campbell. She was supposedly photographed recently in Paris by famed fashion photographer duo Ines van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Moving from supermodel to supermodel . . . not too shabby!

Earlier in the week supermodel Kate Moss was spotted out with her friend and business partner Sir Philip Green. The pair had a wild night out at Aspinall's casino with Moss leaving with what appeared to be a rather large wedge of cash.
We are all so happy to see the Gossip Girls back in action! The too-cute cast turned up at the Paley Festival and here is Serena van der Woodsen herself looking power babe in a Smythe blazer and straight jeans. The fact that she wears it open, with a cotton tank, makes it more cas(ual) — I supplied a patent red clutch to liven things up even more for Ms. Lively.
I feel like we're all perpetually in search of the perfect pair of jeans. All I'm asking for is a pair with the perfect wash, cut, and fit — does it even exist? I'd love for you to share your best prospect, or if you have more than one that you love, even better!
My current fave is the J Brand Mid Rise 16" Straight Leg Jean ($159) — the cut and color are near perfect.
