Fab Finding Follow Up: Fab, Mexicana Style

I'm totally stoked for my upcoming trip to Mexico, I had to share.

I'm totally stoked for my upcoming trip to Mexico, I had to share. And where am I going in Mexico you ask? Zihuatanejo. Try saying that three times fast. This vacay is going to be all about the beach, fun, and much-needed relaxation. I asked you to help me find looks that are easy going, but super cute — you never know who I'll run into!

I started you off with this Vanessa Bruno Sequin Trim Tote ($179) because it's equally Fab and sturdy enough to withstand the sand and sun. Let's see what you all came up with!

Look #1, created by lizzylu49, is beautiful and beach appropriate. The DVF tunic is casual yet Fab enough to wear out to dinner after soaking in the warm sun.

Roberto Cavalli Wooden Wedge Sandals: Love It or Hate It?

Color me crazy, but I fancy these Roberto Cavalli Wooden Wedge Sandals ($1,850).

Color me crazy, but I fancy these Roberto Cavalli Wooden Wedge Sandals ($1,850). The outrageously high heel reminds me of my favorite Disney character, Minnie Mouse, and the spur heels are fierce — eccentric glamour defined.

The debut of Georgina Sparks on last night's Gossip Girl was just as dramatic as the previews made it out to be . . . this girl has trouble written all over her. Her look seems to be all lamé leggings, studs, and spray-on jeans thus far, which is a fun departure from Blair's high maintenance look and Serena's Kate Moss-inspired wardrobe. From her patent Jimmy Choos and black J Brand skinnies to her Gucci reptilian handbag and tangle of chains, the former Buffy sibling is projecting pure attitude. I wonder what kind of trouble she's going to stir up as "Sarah."

Fab Flash: Elle Magazine Editors to Guest Star on Ugly Betty

Just as former Elle fashion director Nina Garcia prepares for a guest appearance this Thursday on Ugly Betty, the announcement comes that more Elle editors are joining in on the ugly fun.

Elle Editor in Chief Robbie Myers and creative director Joe Zee will appear on the season finale of the show, which features a charity softball game between Elle and the fictitious Mode magazine. Myers and Zee will both be up to bat on the episode, wearing the uniform at left, and Naomi Campbell is set to play Elle's designated hitter. Sounds like the season is going to wrap with a home run!

High Heels Can Be a Pain in the Neck
My pal Fab has been seriously weighing the pros and cons of shoes replacing handbags as the ultimate fashion accessory. Makes sense to me because so many of the heels out this season are intricate and high.

Celebrity Style: Liv Tyler

It's been so long since we've seen Liv Tyler all dolled up.

It's been so long since we've seen Liv Tyler all dolled up. She really should do it more often. At the NYC premiere of Iron Man, the actress sparkled in Stella McCartney's embellished, oversized dress. Her choice of footwear — grey suede strappy sandals — is fitting, because it allows a continuous flow from her dress to the shoes. Oh, and I love her dark makeup and new, short 'do!
