Julianne Moore

The Week's Fab Favorite: Julianne Moore

I have always loved Julianne Moore — I think she is Hollywood's most talented redhead.

I have always loved Julianne Moore — I think she is Hollywood's most talented redhead. Amber Waves made waves at the Cannes Film Festival in this black and blue Lanvin. The ultra-chic blue silk satin dress with ruffle neckline under a black silk tuxedo blazer suited her perfectly. She made it more casual by pushing up the jacket sleeves (or was she hot?) and wearing a pair of adorable Chloe sunglasses. Her razored cut was perfection; she looked cool and comfortable.

She may be a bit covered up for the heat of Cannes, but just toss off the blazer and it's still a super Fab look. You all loved Angelina at Cannes and weren't sure about Eva Longoria, but I think this French-friendly fit takes the Cannes cake.

As if I'm not already ecstatic to see the Sex and the City movie, now I have one more reason to jump for joy.

As if I'm not already ecstatic to see the Sex and the City movie, now I have one more reason to jump for joy. Vogue editor at large Andre Leon Talley will make a cameo as himself while he helps Carrie Bradshaw at a bridal-gown photo shoot for Vogue.

"This is something I would do. I helped Melania Trump plan her wedding looks from beginning to end — it's part of what I do," he told the Associated Press.

Andre continued that the gowns they worked with also would fit nicely into the magazine, especially his favorite, a "more-than-over-the-top" Christian Dior Couture gown. "I loved Sarah Jessica in it. She's a confident pro about clothes anyway. She pulled it off brilliantly, but it's not something that many women could do."

I can't wait to see Andre clad in his custom-made, gray flannel Ralph Lauren suit and midnight blue crocodile oxford Manolo Blahniks. Sexy!

The Look For Less: Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce opted for casual garb as she headed out to watch a basketball game with hubby Jay-Z. I love seeing B in this easy outfit over her form-fitting red carpet gowns. Here she sports a classy and chic Chanel tweed coat with wide legged khakis. She's accessorized with platform shoes, layered jewels, and an oversized metallic bag. Get this diva's Parisian hippie look for less!

2009 Cruise: Chanel

There's no place like sizzling Miami, and Karl Lagerfeld thought the Raleigh Hotel would be the perfect setting for his latest Cruise collection.

There's no place like sizzling Miami, and Karl Lagerfeld thought the Raleigh Hotel would be the perfect setting for his latest Cruise collection. He was right. A lifeguard oversaw the posh audience, including Chanel muse Diane Kruger and sporty fashionista Anna Kournikova, as well as the fashion elite. And just in case there was any funny business, Chanel logo life preservers were bobbing about. For Karl, this show was “all about proportions, cuts, volumes. There is not one line that is taken all through the collection. For cruise, you don’t do that. There are many looks and an attitude.”

Oh, and the attitude; it was chipper amongst the synchronized swimmers and fierce amongst the models. The clothes were feathered, plasticized, and also synchronized. Black and white made a cameo as well as creamy neutrals and pretty pink — the pink knits were superb. The quirky accessories added humor and sporty touches added a slick element. To wit, the inspiration was Brian Jones, the troubled Rolling Stone who's dead body was found at the bottom of his pool in 1969. Fashion and irony, brilliant.

Celebrity Style: Rachel Bilson

Among the celebs who welcomed Rogan to Barneys was the always sweet Rachel Bilson. Most ladies kept it springy and colorful, but R-Bils did her own thing. That's what we like to see here at Fab! She opted for a casual crochet LBD, a black blazer, and some dope nude shoes that took the look a few notches higher. Rachel's use of color came in the form of neon, layered bangles. And she brushed aside those unflattering bangs. Phew!
