I Want This Wardrobe: Sex and the City Movie

In case you've been MIA, the whole Sugar gang finally saw the Sex and the City movie.

In case you've been MIA, the whole Sugar gang finally saw the Sex and the City movie. But don't worry, I'm not going to utter a word about the story line. What I am going to open my trap about are the wardrobes of the fabulous foursome, courtesy of Patricia Field. Almost all of Carrie's outfits were dead on and gush worthy, but it was a little strange to see Miranda always dressed up and accessorized. I guess she's grown up and now appreciates fashion! Because I'm Fab, I was instantly able to identify what each character was wearing as soon as I saw it. Not! Let's just say I have friends in high places who were amazing enough to share their wealth of wardrobe knowledge. And what an excessive amount of wealth it is — dive in!

This Week's Fab Favorite: Malin Ackerman

I was amongst my people last night at the Chanel store opening party in LA, or so I like to think so.

I was amongst my people last night at the Chanel store opening party in LA, or so I like to think so. Chanel employees, Chanel lovers, Chanel aficionados, oh, and gorgeous actresses and models ching-chinged wearing the coveted label. It was a tough call but budding blonde and 27 Dresses star, Malin Ackerman won me over in her deep burgundy sparkly Chanel jumpsuit. Just when I thought I'd seen my fill of disco-era jumpsuits, this girl was hopping around the Chanel party in super style.

And that smile — amazing! She's like a cross between two other Fab favorites: Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson. To top off the daring look, she chose an icey plastic Chanel clutch, black wooden platforms, and tiered diamond earrings and a cosmic cocktail ring by Chanel Fine Jewelry. She's got the look.

On Our Radar: Paris Hilton, Welcome to the Dollhouse

Paris Hilton is no stranger to designing clothes — or rather, giving her approval on her clothing line — but now she's putting her world tour with boyfriend Benji Madden on hold to create a debut denim line with Dollhouse.

Paris Hilton is no stranger to designing clothes — or rather, giving her approval on her clothing line — but now she's putting her world tour with boyfriend Benji Madden on hold to create a debut denim line with Dollhouse. This time around, she will also serve as model for the brand. The line will include skinny and wide-leg jeans, as well as shirts, dresses, and more ranging from $30 to $100. The pieces will first debut at Kitson, where the rest of Paris' clothing is sold, and will head to Nordstrom and Macy's this Fall.

Here, the heiress arrived in Tokyo wearing Marc by Marc Jacobs' Gem Shirtdress ($235, originally $388). Doesn't she look like the hostess with the mostess?

Sex and the City Style, Season 6

Sex and the City Style, Season 6

Sex and the City came to a close after six unforgettable seasons. We were taken on quite an emotional roller coaster in this final season. For Carrie, Berger was out, Big was calling again, and her new Lovah, Aleksandr Petrovsky was showering her with mature affection. Charlotte was living happily ever after with Harry, Miranda tied the knot, and how can we forget that Samantha was diagnosed with cancer and Smith was steadfastly by her side. Carrie's spontaneous move to Paris with Aleksandr was most shocking to me. Of course, picturesque Paris is every girl's dream, but Carrie was such a deep-rooted New Yorker. But in the end, Mr. Big, and NYC, called Carrie back home. Home sweet home, indeed! Check out my other Sex and the City style slideshows!

Celebrity Style: Kate Moss

Halt the presses — Kate Moss is smiling, wide!

Halt the presses — Kate Moss is smiling, wide! The model spent an evening celebrating the opening of a new London art exhibition, and though she was dressed in all black, her sense of humor was anything but morose. Kate generally wears a dark palette, but we rarely see her in head-to-toe black. The patent-leather coat adds a much-needed shine and the pointy black lace-up boots give her a witchy vibe. Wicked!

A Few Fab Words With Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker

They say, save the best for last.

They say, save the best for last. Sorry to keep you waiting, but it will all be worth it once you hear what SJP had to say about the Sex and the City movie wardrobe. From the very beginning, Carrie was the fashion maverick, the one who dared to wear anything and everything. Her style rebellion paid off in the end because the name Carrie Bradshaw will forever be uttered by the mouths of millions. Oh, how I will miss seeing her innovative outfits. Sniff.

Don't forget to catch up on what the rest of the cast had to say about SATC's fashion.

Did you get to keep everything from the movie?

Everything that wasn’t borrowed. It's archived, and I had done that over the course of the series, which had really been beneficial actually, because when we had to go back in and shoot, and shoot that montage of all that stuff it was really great to have Carrie's closet available for that moving out stuff. There was a time that the montage included all of the women in my clothes dancing around and they really did put on my character’s outfits from those times. And I had actually archived a lot of the furniture, so it was kind of nice to have, as ludicrous as it may sound.

What are you wearing today, head to toe?

Hair is my own; dress is Lanvin; belt is my own, old Yves Saint Laurent; necklace, earrings Fred Leighton; shoes are Proenza Schouler; and some vintage bracelets from the thrift store.
