Fab Finding Follow Up: Off to the Flea Market!

I love shopping but I hate being indoors when the weather is so nice outside.

I love shopping but I hate being indoors when the weather is so nice outside. A flea market adventure is the perfect remedy to my predicament and I'm always down for a vintage hunt — who knows what treasures I'll find!

I started you off with this Matiko Iva Sandals ($80) because I love the huarache-inspired cut and the flat heel will keep me comfortable all day long while I scrounge for goodies. Let's see what you all came up with.

Look #1, created by fashionhore is hippie-chic. The high-waisted shorts and small shoulder bag lends an awesome vintage vibe.

Mischa Barton

How Would You Wear It? Mischa Barton

My heart goes out to Mischa who's been getting a lot of unneccesary flack for her body lately.

My heart goes out to Mischa who's been getting a lot of unneccesary flack for her body lately. But my heart does not go out to girls when they wear unflattering clothes that draw attention to their so-called problem areas.

The Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony floral corset top Mischa wore to the Event to Prevent benefit is lovely, but the wrinkled khaki mom pants? Not so much. The combination of high waist and tapered bottom does not work here. Instead, she should have worn a pair of high-waist dark jeans that are more slimming. Or, a black pencil skirt to keep with the alternative vibe. I do like her messenger bag, metallic heels, and layered jewelry, though.

Fab Flash: Stephanie Seymour Is a Force to Be Reckoned With

Here's the thing: I used to hate former Victoria's Secret model Stephanie Seymour.

Here's the thing: I used to hate former Victoria's Secret model Stephanie Seymour. You may recall, in the early '90s she dated Axl Rose — lead singer of my favorite band Guns 'n' Roses. But, I would see her in my mom's VS catalogs and think she was so beautiful with her blue eyes and straight-edged nose. It was a love/hate relationship, actually.

Fifteen years later, Stephanie is a mother of four, happily married to a media mogul, still modeling and in Fab's good graces. And, she's still gorgeous. We've been talking about the return of the Supermodels and Stephanie is up next.

At 40 years old, she recently joined the staff of Interview magazine and she's helping to revamp More magazine, starring in the latest GAP ad campaign, modeling on the cover of Pop magazine's Spring-Summer issue, and continuing to be the face of lingerie line Chantelle. It doesn't stop there. She was just tapped to be the only model in Saks' Fall preview book — all 63 pages of Stephanie. Here's to being 40 and fabulous!

Celebrity Style: Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie headed to yet another day of traffic school, but from her rocker chick outfit, you would think she's going to a concert.

Nicole Richie headed to yet another day of traffic school, but from her rocker chick outfit, you would think she's going to a concert. Just because the occasion is not so exciting doesn't mean she shouldn't put herself together just like usual. Au contraire. Nicole chose an Elizabeth and James patchwork dress and her blue Balenciaga motorcycle bag. I dig her finishing touches (nix the tights) — the wide-rim hat, the simple necklace, and her signature sunnies. Do you?

P.S. Does anyone else see Nicole channeling Ann Demeulemeester's Fall collection? A keen connection.

Trend Alert: Scallops

Mmm, scallops. I love the sweet, chewy seafood treat.

Mmm, scallops. I love the sweet, chewy seafood treat. But, scallops are also a fun and easy look to wear. Remember Marion Cotillard looking like a majestic mermaid in her scalloped Jean Paul Gaultier frock at the Oscars? This ethereal trend comes in a plethora of shapes and sizes. My favorite scalloped look is the romantic and flowing larger cut layers. Just make sure to wear this look closer to your body to avoid any extra volume. Bon appetit!
