Hollywood’s Hot Date Dress is Back: Blake’s Favorite Rag & Bone Tunic
She may have gone from a sky blue hue to something a little more subdued, but it looks like Blake Lively’s buzzed about Rag & Bone Peasant dress is still her go-to look for dates with boyfriend Penn Badgley. Just two weeks ago, both the Gossip Girl star and California girl Cameron Diaz chose blue striped Rag & Bone tunic dresses for hot dates, causing the frocks to sell out almost instantly online after we ran the story.

Trend Alert: Baggy Jeans
Disclaimer: I'm just the messenger. You know this '90s trend is back in action when supermodel Heidi Klum is spotted donning a pair of baggy jeans. Don't get me wrong, I love Heidi, but her saggy denim reminds me of days past in high school watching Boyz n the Hood.
For those interested, most offerings are sold at high end retailers for a pretty penny. Be savvy and raid your man's closet — I wonder if Victoria Beckham borrowed David's — or buy a pair of cheap baggy vintage jeans.
What say you: Are these any better than baggy and saggy pants because they're denim?
Before They Were Stars

My parents moved in college. Painfully, one Summer I had to go through all my adolescent memorabilia and clean house. I had years and years of fashion magazines and my mom was serious about downsizing seeing as how I didn't even have a bedroom to put my stuff in (boo).
My ADD went into full effect when I was cleaning out and I spent hours flipping through past issues of Vogue, W, Bazaar, The Face, ELLE and whatever else I consumed during my years of angst. Alas, fashion was/is my salvation so I could not part with these images. I decided to put my favorite ads and editorials in binders to preserve them.
Once in a while I flip through the binders to admire the pages of fashion circa 1990-2000. When supermodels reigned, Liz Tilberis was the Editor of Bazaar and grunge gave way to minimalism. Oh look, there's Diane Kruger modeling for Emanuel Ungaro before she was an actress, looking sultry as always. And Chloe Sevigny, right around her Kids debut, modeling for Miu Miu. The ever-evolving Drew also looking wonderfully alternative in a Miu Miu ad. Interesting how all three budding stars are Fab favorites.
Celebrity models are nothing new, but this is when it was.

Style Glossary: Doorknocker

Doorknocker
Longer, wider hoop earrings, or other design, fitted onto an earpost and dangles free. Resembles a house doorknocker, thus the name. Hilary Duff usually sports a lot of doorknockers.
If you like this style of earring, try these Gold Heart Doorknockers ($10).
Blank Splatter Cut Off Shorts: Love It or Hate It?
These Blank Splatter Cut Off Shorts ($85) sure take the worry out of getting your whites dirty. I present to you a colorful, pre-splattered artistic mess. Short shorts couldn't be more of a hot mess. What do you think?

Vogue Italia: All Black, All Fabulous
By now you've heard the hype and seen the covers of Vogue Italia's all black July issue. Now, step inside the magazine to experience some of the powerful editorials shot by Steven Meisel. Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Liya Kebede, Jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman (left), and Sessilee Lopez are all a part of this groundbreaking movement, each bringing to the table their own unique presence. Repeat after me: Black is beautiful!
Celebrity Style: Christina Ricci
The adorable Christina Ricci left the gym looking mighty cute and non-sporty in her light blue plaid Splendid shirt, cutoff shorts, and Sigerson Morrison gold sandals. Wouldn't it be nice if every gym buff left their sneakers and sports bras in the . . . gym? I think so! The actress completed her casually nonchalant look with a cool cream bag, a star necklace, and Dita sunnies.

Look of the Day: Beret Beautiful

Isn't mimi10112 just beret beautiful? But the beret isn't the only thing I'm loving on her. The white blouse with floral details is sweet, especially over those wide leg jeans. And how can I neglect the lovely green Prada purse? I can't!
Here's what she's wearing:
- Top: Mika
- Jeans: Levi's
- Shoes: Jessica Simpson
- Bag: Prada
Congrats to mimi10112!

Inspired: Matthew Williamson Tie-Dye Dress
This dress, which FabSugar noted took tie-dye from hippie to hip, is from Matthew Williamson's Spring '08 collection. While tie-dye is nearly synonymous with hippies, the craft of tie dying predates Woodstock by centuries. Some tie-dye techniques and traditions include Japanese Shibori, Indian Bandhani, and African tie-dye.
Style For Style: Halt-er Your Bra
I've never had major problems finding the right bra for a particular top, but I have a bigger-busted friend for whom finding the right bra is a constant battle. Over the weekend, she and I got ready together before heading out for a night on the town, and that is when I witnessed her struggle. She wore a halter top, much like this Theory Kensy Halter Top ($180). Having fairly large breasts, she stays away from strapless bras because they give her that unflattering line across her chest. She wanted to wear her regular bra but didn't want the straps to show because of the halter cut.
