Last weekend's kite-flying date was filled with windy, outdoor fun. I definitely wasn't up to par with The Kite Runner, but I gave my best effort. Don't worry, I didn't make a complete fool out of myself.

Neck pieces, bracelets, and earrings are inspired from natural phenomena such as coral aggregations and interference patterns — say what?! OK, so it might be a too complex for the scientifically impaired but the collection is original and awesome. What to Wear With Your New White iPhone
White out! I am not above saying that choosing the color of my new iPhone 3G was a bit of a fashion choice. What? It's an accessory, and my accessories are sartorial decisions. I can coordinate with black or white, but I love that either color in Apple's new version of the iPhone is a dream to coordinate with, should you so choose!
Per usual, the Fall runways were awash with dark, moody, and jewel-tone colors. However, some designers went against the grain and embraced the icy-cold colors of Fall. Winter white, mellow gray, and arctic blue are intense, cool, and collected.
Narciso Rodriguez (left) was decidedly hyperbolic with this monochrome look — a sculptural white dress, blinding tights and banded shoes. It may be slushy and ugly outside, but being stylishly stark never looked so good.

In an attempt to get in with the in crowd, JCPenney has teamed up with Baby Phat founder Kimora Lee Simmons, in launching her exclusive juniors line, Fabulosity. The brand will encompass the same trendy elements as its sister label but at lower price points, between $29 to $108, in comparison to Baby Phat's $30 to $200 range.
"The Fabulosity girl is fun, fashionable and chic, but she doesn't want to spend her last penny on something to wear. This collection is fashionable, but also affordable. The days of spending tons on clothes are gone — I mean, I still do it, but young girls can't," said Simmons. Kimora also expressed interest in expanding Fabulosity into a full-lifestyle collection, comparable to Baby Phat's, adding shoes, accessories, handbags, and a home collection.
Offerings of skinny denim, blouses, knit tops, and dresses are currently available online and will be sold in stores this month.
