What's the next best thing to meeting Leonardo DiCaprio? Meeting his gorgeous girlfriend, model Bar Refaeli! One of our PopSugar girls had the pleasure of getting to know Bar at the NBC party in LA as part of the 2008 Summer TCA Tour. The Israeli-born beauty has recently signed on to be the face and body for sport brand Hurley, so you'll be seeing lots more of her.

When asked who some of her favorite designers are, Bar said, "Well, when it comes to gowns and really big dresses I love Cavalli, I like Alberta Ferretti and Gucci. I like Tommy Hilfiger for every day." As for her everyday style? "Just Jeans and tank tops." Done and done.

Ecco Domani has just added some green power to their Fashion Foundation by adding a sustainable design award to its existing program.

“The fashion industry as a whole is taking an important step towards eco-conscious design and production. Through this new award we are proud to acknowledge those emerging designers who are using their talent to make a difference in the world in which we live” , said David Bowman, senior director of marketing at Ecco Domani Wines.

The award will be open to a women's or menswear designer who exemplifies their commitment to sustainability based on three criteria: environment, social equity, and economic viability.

The 2009 winners, one in sustainable design, four womenswear, one menswear, and one accessories designer will each receive $25,000 towards their showing at NY Fall Fashion Week in February. This year's winners had a lot to say and we hope next year's will be just as exciting.

Botkier for Target just hit stores last week and hot on their heels will be Hayden-Harnett!

We just got news that Target have teamed up with the hot Brooklyn-based accessories designers for an upcoming exclusive collection. Details are still in the works.

Jessica Simpson is one busy girl. Following the recent announcement of adding an intimates collection to her repertoire, the celebrity designer, in conjunction with G-III Apparel Group Ltd., will be adding dresses to her Jessica Simpson retail brand.

"I'm extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace," said Simpson.

Price points for the dresses are still to be determined but are expected to be in line with Simpson's current offerings of handbags, footwear, swimwear, outerwear, eyewear, and jewelry. The first selection of frocks are set for a soft launch in Spring 2009, with a more complete collection available in stores in Fall 2009.
