You want exotic? Double Happiness Design by Stephanie Wells will give you exotic. Step into the world of Stephanie and her sister Alisa Rottenberg and experience their affordable, colorful, and travel-inspired jewels.

The duo started the company in August 2001, but all the pieces are designed by Stephanie in her Southern California studio. Double Happiness is marriage in the Chinese culture, but to these sisters, it represents a karmic chain reaction.

Some of the Double Happiness pieces have already been embraced and worn by celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Rachel Ray, Heidi Klum, and Beyonce. One look at the gorgeous necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings, and it's plain to see why the duo has been on more magazine covers than some models. They currently have a huge Summer sale, but regular merchandise runs $40 to $370.

Each collection is also accompanied by a detailed biography — ooh, I've always wanted to know what inspires them! Anouck Lepére. Anyone who keeps close tabs on the modeling world has surely heard this Belgian name. It is that of one of the most involved models right now. Not only does Anouck show her pretty face on all the major runways, she also frequents editorial spreads in magazines, and has been the face of Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein.

What's more, she's a model about town, attending all the coolest parties in her quirky outfits. Well, it helps that she calls both Dries van Noten and Olivier Theyskens friends. In fact, the designers are the reason the once architecture student pursued modeling. The 29-year-old also has a jewelry line on the side. Oh, and if you must know, she's currently dating Kate Moss's baby daddy, Jefferson Hack. Gulp! What a mouthful Anouck's glamorous life is.

In addition to designing an exclusive line for Target, acccessory brand Hayden-Harnett will add a shoe and swimwear collection to their 2009 Spring collection.

“The designs are definitely '80s influenced, specifically 1980 and 1981. It’s very ‘Working Girl’ meets ‘Xanadu’ meets Memphis design. Women in New York City don’t have cars, we have shoes. I have decided to simply refuse to compromise style for comfort or vice versa” said Toni Hacker, cofounder and designer of Hayden-Harnett.

The six style swimwear line, ranging from $88 to $148, will include fun ruffled bottoms and keyhole maillots in their signature prints.

What's all this talk against my girl LC? Allegations that she doesn't have as heavy of a hand in the design of The Lauren Conrad Collection as we all thought, and being dropped from Kitson last week? Lauren doesn't seem fazed by any of this while shopping with roomie Lo at Intermix. I'm loving her laid back look: Elizabeth and James plaid shirt, patent Mulberry Bayswater, cuffed jeans, chic Loubs, and golden aviators. Lo is looking pretty cute, too. Whatever the truth shall be, Lauren keeps on keepin' on.
