Fab Finding Follow-Up: Pajama-Rama

Last weekend's pajama party was overflowing with popcorn and fun.

Last weekend's pajama party was overflowing with popcorn and fun. The girls and I had a blast sipping champagne as we watched teen flicks from the '80s and reminisced about the good old days. I know it sounds corny, but we even played truth or dare. Girls just wanna have fun.

I started you off with these UGG Australia Sheepskin Flip-Flops ($70) because I couldn't resist the decadently soft texture.

Let's see what you all came up with!

Look # 1, created by gabitaitalia, is pink all over. Love those polka-dot jammies!

Cheap & Chic: Plaid Button-Downs

We can all agree that $250 for a plaid button-down top is too much.

We can all agree that $250 for a plaid button-down top is too much. Such was the case with Lauren Conrad's cute, albeit overpriced, Elizabeth and James shirt. Alas, plaid is already on the move to becoming a Fall frenzy, so get ahead of the trend on the cheap. I do, however, recommend teaming your plaid shirt with foxy high heels a la LC — this takes the look from totally geek to totally chic.

Behind the Seams: Fergie's Shoe Debut in Vegas

Fergie's bag collection with Kipling has been well underway.

Fergie's bag collection with Kipling has been well underway. Now, the blossoming star and fashion designer is giving another favorite accessory a go. Yesterday — in a Dolce & Gabbana sheath — she unveiled a shoe collection with Brown Shoe in Las Vegas at the WSA Show.

From what I can see, styles range from sassy and colorful platforms, cool gladiators, exotic sandals, and sporty kicks. Looks like Fergie took a survey of her shoe collection and applied it here. Fergie sat front and center at the mini-runway show and everyone looked pleased — especially her.

As the style-setter put it, "I have always loved fashion because it's a great way to express your mood. And I'm definitely a shoe lover. The right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit, and even change how a woman feels about herself. A woman can wear confidence on her feet with a high stiletto, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat."

Amen to that. Fergie's shoes will debut in Spring '09 — are you looking forward to wearing some Fergalicous pumps?

Bella Quiz: Real Celebrity or Wax Figure?
How does a celebrity know she's really made it? By winning an Oscar or a Grammy? Nah. It's all about being immortalized in wax by Madame Tussaud's. But because of oily skin, cosmetic procedures, or just plain nervousness, some stars seem to look like statues from time to time. Think you can guess which stars are posing and which ones are paraffin stand-ins? Take the quiz to find out!

Celebrity Style: America Ferrera

All four starlets of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 looked fabulous at the premiere last night.

All four starlets of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 looked fabulous at the premiere last night. But America always shines on the red carpet and that she did in her electric blue Brian Reyes dress. Gossip Girl Leighton Meester was also wearing Brian Reyes — a black-slip corset dress. FYI: Blake's orange maxi was Gucci and Alexis's ruched one shoulder dress was Mischen. But back to America. The blue is just Fab, the black-banded belt flattered her figure and her dazzling accessories were perfection. God bless America.

The Look For Less: Oscar de la Renta African Print Dress

This Oscar de la Renta African Print Dress ($1,225, originally $2,450) would be a fabulous piece to add to my collection of dresses.

This Oscar de la Renta African Print Dress ($1,225, originally $2,450) would be a fabulous piece to add to my collection of dresses. Accessorizing would be loads of fun, but runway looks come at a hefty price, and even at 50 percent off, I cannot fathom forking over the bills for this fun frock.

Project Runway

Double Take: Yves Saint Laurent and Austin Scarlett

I've long thought that Project Runway alum Austin Scarlett and the late Yves Saint Laurent share an uncanny resemblance to one another.

I've long thought that Project Runway alum Austin Scarlett and the late Yves Saint Laurent share an uncanny resemblance to one another. Granted, the 27-year-old Austin resembles a 38-year-old Yves in 1974, but one can't deny the physical similarities. They're both tall, lean, have square jaw lines, wear oversize square glasses, and have thin lips and golden hair. Oh, and both are fashion designers, but clearly their likeness doesn't go beyond the physical. I doubt anyone's talent, including Austin's, will be comparable to that of genius Yves — but you never know, right? It's nice to know we have someone to remind us of the dapper lad from Algeria who roamed and fashioned the streets of Paris in the '70s.
