Fab Finding Follow-Up: Day One, New Job
It's your first day of work at a spankin' new job and you want to impress everyone with your fashionable ways. What should you wear? You don't want to look like you tried too hard, but you also don't want to come off looking like a slop.
We've all been in this situation, so I asked you: What would the perfect first day of work ensemble be? After all, first impressions leave a lasting memory.
I started you off with this Nixon Ivy Watch ($270). It's cool, you can set it to three jet-setting time zones, and the macho shape is sleek.
Let's see what you all came up with!
Look #1, created by gabitaitalia, would make a great first impression. You can never go wrong with the classics.

Who Wore It Better? Ikat Myne Skirt
Two bohemian style setters and one Myne ikat skirt. Night and day. Rachel earned much praise for her festive look while barhopping last week, and Kate played volleyball and hung out beachside in hers. I have to say the skirt works for both occasions. So the burning question is, do you like Bilson's dressed up look or Kate's way dressed down look better?

CommentsDo You Agree With the Project Runway Judges' Decision Last Night?
For the first time in this season of Project Runway, I completely disagree with the judges' decision. Sorry, Nina! The challenge was to create a day-to-night look for Brooke Shields's character on Lipstick Jungle — really cool. Sophisticated, bohemian, and sharp was what I envisioned. Seeing the team dynamics is always entertaining, but the results were polarizing. After the models walked, I knew who the bottom and top looks were. Spoiler on its way . . .
I did not expect Kelli to get sent home for an overly-sexy look while Blayne stayed for his tousled styling and gray Bermuda shorts; after Heidi said it looked like someone who had gotten dressed in the dark without a mirror, I thought the decision was made. So yeah, I totally thought Blayne should have gotten the ax. Maybe I'm alone here, you tell me?
Celebrity Style: Lake Bell
Lake Bell was red hot last night at the premiere of In Search of a Midnight Kiss in LA. Red can be overtly sexy, but I like how Lake kept her look tasteful in a slim skirt and silk blouse. Her monochrome, with a punch of blue, silhouette was topped off with stellar suede accessories. Now that's what I call red hot.

Fab Flash: New York Fashion Week Via American Express
Dying to go to New York Fashion Week next month? Here's your chance. I must preface, my mom did this one year while I was working and I hung out with her in the VIP Skybox — it was oh so Fab. And the sandwiches were really good. If you have money to burn, and a burning desire for fashion, consider buying your way in.
Starting today, American Express Gold, Platinum, and Centurion cardmembers can choose from a variety of packages to watch the shows from the exclusive American Express Skybox. You can buy tickets online for BCBG, Betsey Johnson, Diesel, Erin Fetherston, Phillip Lim, Vera Wang — the list goes on. You have to buy them in groups of two shows, for $250 a person. There's also "By Invitation Only" packages that let you experience backstage and visit with hair and makeup artists. Proceeds will go to the $500,000 American Express donation to the Council of Fashion Designers of America Vogue Fashion Fund. So not only will you be witnessing fashion, you'll be supporting it. Shows are already selling out so hop to. Who's Spring collection would you like to see?!
