Sisterhood Style: Lena, Tibby, Bridget, Carmen

While the girls plan their next move in Greece, I'm more concerned with what they're wearing.

While the girls plan their next move in Greece, I'm more concerned with what they're wearing. I'm especially obsessed with Lena's Rachel Pally inspired multi-colored dress. The other three are a little more laid back, but just as stylish. Tibby's got the color combination just right, Bridget's orange tank complements her tan perfectly, and Carmen's purple polo is both understated and chic. Use the girls' looks as inspiration for your very own Grecian vacation.

FABTV: A Preview of Model.Live

A new day-in-the-life-of-a-model show is on the horizon: Model.Live is debuting tomorrow night on Vogue.tv.

A new day-in-the-life-of-a-model show is on the horizon: Model.Live is debuting tomorrow night on Vogue.tv. We briefly mentioned it before, and here is another preview.

This show is different from the rest in that it's online and interactive — fans will be able to keep up with the daily happenings and communicate with the show's stars Cato, Madeline, and Austria via bebo.com. And this is cool: you'll be able to shop the models' clothes as they go from go-see, to agency, to the runway, and all the sidewalks in between. Ultimately, you can witness what it takes for a green model to be successful. All three gals have vastly different looks; my interest goes to Dominican Republic-born Austria, the youngest (and prettiest!). Check out the preview — mostly agents sitting around a table strategizing about the three hopefuls — and as of Aug. 22, new episodes will be broadcast every Friday for 12 weeks.

Back to Cool: Jawbreaker

Learn it, love it, live it.

Learn it, love it, live it. The volcanic cast of Jawbreaker: Rose McGowan, the fearless leader; Rebecca Gayheart, the beauty with soul; Julie Benz (now of Dexter fame) as Foxy, the frivolous follower; and Judy Greer, the made-over diva Vylette. Throw in Marilyn Manson and Pam Grier, and it's fun for the whole Fab family.

Circa 1999, these ladies ruled the hallways in skin-tight, candy-colored cardigans, pencil skirts, capri pants, hoop earrings, midriff exposure, and attitude-inducing outfits. They are as hot, powerful, and wicked as school girls get. As the tagline goes, "The sweetest candies are sour as death inside" — we could all use a little Jawbreaker sticky sweet style in our back to cool wardrobe.

Sisterhood Style: Bridget, Lena, Carmen, Tibby

The girls get together at the beginning of the movie to talk traveling pants, specifically who gets them and when.

The girls get together at the beginning of the movie to talk traveling pants, specifically who gets them and when. But since none of them are wearing them in this photo, there's a lot more shop to talk. I'm especially loving Bridget's yellow blouse and white Joe's jeans. Carmen's Lands' End tote is also a standout, as it's both classic and timeless. I included an updated patent version below. Enjoy.

Sisterhood Style: Tibby

Tibby's story line is somewhat dark in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, so it's rather appropriate that her wardrobe reflects her mood.

Tibby's story line is somewhat dark in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, so it's rather appropriate that her wardrobe reflects her mood. In this particular scene, Tibby talks with her boyfriend Brian outside in New York. Her ensemble is very good girl goes Lower East Side and it's all about the layering. Here she pairs a green dress, with a black cardigan, and a purple scarf, with the patterned tights as the pièce de résistance. Copy her look below.

On Our Radar: Vena Cava For Via Spiga

Vena Cava designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai have already mastered the art of designing cool clothes, but what about shoes?

Vena Cava designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai have already mastered the art of designing cool clothes, but what about shoes? The duo have just teamed up with sultry shoe label Via Spiga in creating their first shoe designer collaboration.

“We’ve never done shoes before and it’s always been a dream design project," said Buhai.

Retailing from about $300 to $850, the collection, which will debut during NY Fashion Week, will consist of four styles matching their Spring collection theme of “Egyptomania." Expect to see exotic strappy sandals embellished in monkfish and salmon skin dyed in muted, sun-bleached colors.

Curious? The collection will be sold at viaspiga.com and in the new Via Spiga flagship in New York, which will open in October.

Fab Flash: Gwyneth Fur Ad Angers PETA The first time I saw this Tod's ad starring Gwyneth Paltrow in a glossy, I was surprised to say the least. The close friend of Stella McCartney and wife of vegetarian Chris Martin seems like a surprising choice for a company that uses not just fur but also ostrich and snakeskin in its products. Tod's describes itself as "refined, understated luxury, impeccable taste and enviable quality."
