Model Olga Sherer has got to have the longest neck I've ever seen. It's insanely delicate and conducive to creating beautiful photographs. You may recognize her from Lanvin's Spring '08 ad campaign. What I particularly love to see is the red-haired Olga in jewel tones. That's why her collaboration with Lanvin was so special. Something about her pale skin, red hair, and rich colors melded harmoniously. More recently, however, the Belarus model took photographer Steven Meisel's advice and colored her hair brunette. Sigh. I hope she goes back because the modeling world definitely needs more sassy gingers!

Jumpsuits are a tricky trend to pull off but if you do it right, the results can be ravishing. The '70s-inspired cut is ideal for sophisticated nighttime festivities, and I love how it instantly elongates legs! For example, this Black Halo Strapless Jumpsuit ($390) can be accessorized with a fun belt for a snazzier look or à la carte with decadent baubles. The options are endless, but sadly the price is too much too handle.

Raise your hand if you want to elongate your neck. Turtlenecks, like this Michael Stars Stripe Turtleneck ($48), are the way to make a short neck appear longer. But feel me on this: many turtlenecks are designed such that when you fold the neck out, it doesn't cover your entire neck — see left. Or, if you leave it unfolded, it sags and looks funny. A bunch of my friends are on a cruise around Mexico, Honduras, and Belize. They're coming back in a few days, and since I miss them so much, I'm greeting them at the airport. Now that we've defined it, we can eat it up. I didn't realize until Marc Jacobs' Spring collection that I've always been lovin' Lurex. A sucker for anything sparkly, Lurex adds a smidgen of Studio 54 to any item. Many of us won't be able to afford MJ come Spring, so scour your local vintage shop for Lurex infested items. Either way, hop on this trend before it's hot.

How refreshing to see Natalie Portman in a colorful cool ensemble. The smiley actress arrived at Chateau Marmont in LA in a breezy striped dress topped with a navy cardigan. Her accessories include two-tone Ray Bans, layered bead necklace, yellow flats, and a camo bag. What's especially inspirational here is how her accessories simultaneously complement and clash with the dress. As Tim Gunn says, she makes it work.
