Best of 2009: Footwear Designer of the Year
Thanks to the imaginative minds of fabulous footwear designers, sizzling hot shoes were everywhere this year — on the red carpet, on the streets, and at the parties. Without further ado, here are our top six contenders: Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti, Dolce Vita, Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, and Nine West. A mixed bag of high/low brands, and each shined in its own way. Christian Louboutin's eye for decadent details produced beautiful shapes that are undeniably gorgeous. Giuseppe wowed us with its edgier designs and sky-scraping heels. Dolce Vita made a major mark with its affordable, trendy styles. Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci is a force to be reckoned with; his shoes are as amazing as his clothes. Jimmy Choo's Tamara Mellon had a big year on the red carpet, and who can forget her crazy cool collab with H&M? And last but not least, Nine West. Their shoes are always comfy, cheap, and cunning.

Come Fab Finding With Me: Christmas Tree Adventure
Every year around this time, my fams and I head to the local tree farm to choose a Christmas tree. We have so much fun running around — though last year my dad tripped and fell — drinking hot cocoa, and voting on which tree gets to go home with us. (Oh, in case you're wondering, my dad's injury was minimal.) Can you help me put together a cozy, cute outfit for this weekend's fun festivities? I'll start you off with these Top Shop Fingerless Sequin Gloves ($32) — I'm a sucker for fingerless sparkle.
Let's go Fab Finding. Be sure to come back and tell me your Fab Finds are up, or just tag your Fab Finds with Christmas Tree Adventure. Now, you can build outfits by creating your very own widget of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when completing your Fab Finding missions. Learn what a Fab Find is and how to make one.
