This Week's Fab Favorite: Kate Moss

When Moss does hot pink, she does it so right.

When Moss does hot pink, she does it so right. And, back up, when does Mossie ever do hot pink?! After weeks — no months — of red-carpet gowns and glamour, I'm ready for fashion to get back to reality. We're all going to get the Spring shopping itch sooner or later, and it's inspiration like this that will prevent us from breaking the already-fragile bank. Because you see, you probably have most of the components to this sharp, casual look.If you've been reading Fab for a while, you most likely have a black blazer. And a white v-neck tee? Come on. Black leggings? Been there done that. Black leather boots — check. Ah, but the key ingredient: The hot pink sweater. I suggest hitting up your local H&M, Uniqlo, Forever 21, or the Gap, for that. As for the black patent Mulberry bag, you're on your own. Add your own cool shades and goth nail lacquer, and you're cool as ice.

Fab Site: Jenni Kayne Takes Her Business Online

We both know how much I heart Jenni Kayne, so I was beyond excited when I heard she took her business online.

We both know how much I heart Jenni Kayne, so I was beyond excited when I heard she took her business online. Congrats, Jenni! When in LA, I make sure to stop by her West Hollywood boutique, but this virtual store is far more practical. Currently, the ready-to-wear Fall '08 and Resort '09 collections are on sale, as are her baby clothes. But the hidden treasures are the contemporary and vintage jewels from the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and Kenneth Jay Lane. So you see, Jenni has opened up her web home to other stylish cohabitants as well. What a hospitable gal.

Simply Fab: Fredrikson Stallard Coat Hook

When function meets fashion, it's a beautiful thing.

When function meets fashion, it's a beautiful thing. Get a load of this Fredrikson Stallard Coat Hook ($72). Cool, right? It's a single piece of plastic-coated metal wire that has been rejiggered into a coat hook with room for five pieces. Belts, necklaces, scarves, jackets — as long as it's not insanely heavy, it will hold it. Note, however, that if you hang clothes on it, you risk obstructing the shadows it casts. I recommend using it as a coat hook when alone and as wall art when hosting guests.

Oscars Fab Roundup!

What did you think of this year's Oscars?

What did you think of this year's Oscars? Here's my take. I enjoyed the show more, with the fresh talent, cool sets, and quick editing, but the red carpet wasn't the most exciting. Aside from some of my red-carpet favorites not even walking the red carpet, there were simply too many ivory and beige gowns. There, I said it. That doesn't mean these dresses weren't beautiful, it was simply safe, and safe is boring to me. Nonetheless, we still made a party out of it. Be sure to play our Oscars faceoff game and get Angelina's emerald jewels for less. Here's a roundup of everything else Fab and Oscars.
