It was just reported the lavish festival will be toned down this year — Vanity Fair dismissed its black-tie annual and Louis Vuitton didn't book its usual table at the amfAR dinner — but we can still expect fashion on the red carpet from the likes of Diane Kruger, Penelope Cruz, and the enigmatic Tilda Swinton.
Tilda is up first for your judging pleasure. Her monochrome bordeaux layered Haider Ackermann ensemble may also be toned down, but it sure is flattering. Doesn't she look so tall and statuesque? And the mix of materials is lovely.
This is just the amuse-bouche. Look forward to fetes hosted by Dolce & Gabbana and Dsquared2, guaranteed to provide controversial fashion fare.
