I've been wooed by some unusual style suspects. Starting with Maria Sharapova. Not only is she a tennis star, but she's got some serious fashion flavor. And she has such a healthy physique, she looks great in everything. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen graced us with their presence, looking every ounce of cool. As of late, I've taken a strong liking to the combination of leather and wool, or leather and knit. I think Molly Sims's Elizabeth and James skirt sparked it. Leather on its own can be intense, but the addition of another fabric softens it up. If I could, I'd get this Helmut Lang Leather and Wool Dress ($875). It's modern and futuristic at the same time, but it's way too pricey for me.

It's pretty hard to go up against Diane Kruger but The Final Destination actress Shantel VanSanten holds her own. Diane first wore this black sheer, embellished Chanel frock to the David Letterman show last week with pointy pumps. Now Shantel wore the shortened version to the LA premiere of her new movie. Last night's Project Runway was all about maternity wear. Did you tune in? The designers were asked to create an outfit for then-pregnant Rebecca Romijn, who is now the mommy of twin girls. The bulging belly was an obstacle for most of the designers, and it showed in their creations.
