Blam! Charlize Theron doesn't need much to shine, but her crisp cobalt Dior frock at the Burning Plain premiere sure turned up her ferosh factor. However, she wasn't the only celeb deserving of an honorable mention. Thanks to glorious NYFW and movie premieres, a flock of fashion fiends were looking sharp this week in a bevy of party dresses and unique separates. Want to check out my favorite 'fits from the week? New York Fashion Week

Fab Exclusive! Whitney and Olivia on Whitney's Fashion Week Debut

We've been longtime supporters of Whitney Port's Whitney Eve clothing line.

We've been longtime supporters of Whitney Port's Whitney Eve clothing line. It may have started off on an unsure note, but it's always a good sign when you are able to show at the tents at New York Fashion Week.

Whitney's collection fused girlie and romantic and, to my relief, wasn't too '80s. There were definitely a couple flirty dresses and jackets I would rock, but Whitney needs to move past the pastels. While Olivia Palermo told me she thought the collection was "youthful" after the show, last night, at Divas Live, Whitney explained: "My inspiration was Alice in Wonderland goes to a cocktail party. I wanted something really fun, wearable, but that you could easily go from day to night in. Something you wear to the office and then can dress up with heels to go out. Bright colors."Looks like it's onward and upward for Whitney Eve.

10 Reasons to Love Ralph Lauren Spring '10

If anyone can lift American spirits, it's Ralph Lauren.
Photos of Ralph Lauren's Spring 2010 Collection

If anyone can lift American spirits, it's Ralph Lauren. On the last (rainy) day of NYFW, his Depression era-inspired collection did, in fact, leave us on a positive note. Blues in all hues, denim, country florals, navy pinstripes, white cotton, and a couple drop-dead gowns were intensely pretty. And those glittering silver shoes — so fresh against tattered railroad denim. In his notes Lauren said, "I am inspired by the character of the workers, the farmer, the cowboy, the pioneer women of the prairies living authentically through challenging times." History repeats itself; fashion to the rescue.

Jordana Brewster stole the show last night at the ALMA Awards in LA in a bright citron maxi dress by Reem Acra. The almost neon hue looks amazing against her skin tone, and I adore her funky accessories. The stacked bangles and statement ring bring an exotic element to her ensemble, while a box clutch brings in sleekness. On another note, I'm loving the wavy hair.
