This week provided a whirlwind of fabulous fashion fodder. We got to interview not one but two of our crushes: model Cameron Russell and designer Prabal Gurung. Olivia Palermo and boyfriend Johannes Huebl also debuted their new ad campaign for Mango, and Kim Kardashian delivered her own fancy take on courtside dressing. We got to shop Nicky Hilton's new jewelry line and kicked off our annual Fab Gift Guide. Step inside for all that and more you need to know now!
The memories I have of safety pinning my clothes all involve either a pesky fit issue or an impending wardrobe malfunction. That being said, I wasn't sure what to make of these pieces from Ann-Sofie Back. They are super cute and look amazingly comfy, but I'm on the fence about having a giant safety pin keeping my pants or blouse together. What do you think – would you make a statement with safety pins?
Along with Michelle Trachtenberg, Hilary Duff was one of the best-dressed celebrities at the Lucky Shops event in New York City. She went simple with her one-shoulder LBD but spiced the look up with flashy accessories, like her sequin clutch, oversize necklace, and statement cocktail ring. Shop these key items to steal Hilary's style.
As we move further into Fall, I've been piling on the layers and playing around with different textures. Judging by your looks this week, it seems you all have the same M.O.! From faux fur, to fringe, to ruffles, and sequins, your ensembles were full of texture and panache. My favorites were: to the max, victor, victoria(n), little brother's birthday, African fashion, urban tales, can't rain on my parade, hey snow, Winter wedding, sicklittlegames, and Fall sparkle.
